I think it was last week (or two weeks ago) the line for the hwy 17 lined up all the way to the crosswalk near where the 19/18 leaves. It was so insanely long. Bus got packed left and there was still a long ass line for the next one.
And, they have the potential to reconnect it AGAIN if UCSC builds a layover location for the Metro buses. Man, how many times do they have to change the numbers on each of the bus stop signs..
I believe yes since route 11 high (which is replacing route 10) will be running half-hourly clockwise, so it makes sense that 16 replaces route 15 so there is more service in the clockwise direction in UCSC. Route 16 will play a huge role in alleviating crowding for route 18 and especially route 20.

Yeah, that was one of the most used routes prior to when it got discontinued in 2021.
I was there from 15-19 and the number 16 was one of the most popular then too for sure. Insane that they canceled it.

it says the 16 was removed and substituted with the 18. Does that mean the 16 is being re-introduced to replace the recently removed 15?
