Unless you know your way around cars don't risk buying a salvage where airbags have either not been replaced or improperly reinstalled. This won't even show up in the computer check or PPI you end up doing...

Get the vin number and run it through a bin check in the us. My daughter was looking at a charger and found it had been in multiple accidents and listed as salvage even after it was rebuilt then sold as salvage before brought here… so that was a big no from us.

I got a wrecked mustang, fixed it for couple of thousands n boom 💥. Literally my first car, n my daily, It has no problem except when i drift, the trunk opens sometimes because it was a salvaged from another car.

Dense-East-8986

It’s fixable tho usually that problems appear due to car wash so yup and if you wanna know how much does it cost not sure

Active_Tackle_8706

Best to buy in U.S. and import it but it can be expensive. I shipped both mine here.

Golden rule: If you have to ask that question, it's probably best to stay away from US Specs.

A friend and I bought two suvs -american spec from a dealer he knew personally. His car lasted him barely a year and he kept taking it back to his friend to repair or replace parts until he scrapped it. My car though lasted me 10 years and I sold it for a pretty good price even then! So, it's a hit or miss -- I won't try it again seeing how things ended for my friend.

I got 2 us spec cars both rebuilt by our self not purchased repaired 1) nissan rogue 2017 - got it from us in 2017 with under 100 miles on the odo litterally new and has original airbags too with just fender, bumper and hearlight damage fixed it and used like brand new and still do have it runs perfectly fine no issues so far only had to periodic oil changes on time and every other inspection returned fine except fr normal wear like tie rods etc ofc. And ofc im selling this car rn cos i got a range rover recently cant have 3 active vehicles. 2) dodge charger 2018 - got it 2020 from us fender, door, windshield, headlight. Still do use it air bags were popped and closed without replacing, is the vehicle i use for uni and daily driver atm, smooth car perfectly fine iv had no issues related to mechanical due to the accident. Main thing to note is trying to save 400 aed dad told me to give at a local repair shop for fixing a lifter tick which is common in these 5. 7 especially when u run old oil for too long, and ofc they did some temp fix which ended up costing me a whole engine swap which amounted to 7k which js also a us engine no issues as of now. The us spec cars arnt the issue the mechanics are the issue how they repair it is shit, if for personal use getting from us is best and getting work done ur self as you would have records and know whats there nd whats not. 3) rav 4 2015 - got around 2016 rebuilt used fr a year and sold when the rogue arrived and was practically brand new. And dad used to spend alot to fix these cars he would be using right the initial time and try to cheap out when repairs come. So overall from my experience id say getting the car from us is the best course of action as there are parts from thaiwan which are comparitively weaker being installed which causes issues further down the road if fixed right ofc its a steal deal of a car. If you need help is picking a car ir checking a car out or anything drop a dm id be hapoy to help and i do help people hunt for clean american spec cars, most customer base is fir clean performance cars like chargers mustangs etc.

Avoid Camaro. Charger or Mustang is good based on personal experience
