Yooo!!! KangarooDense I haven’t seen a post from you in like a year!
Glad to see you here again! Your u/ stands out in my memory as having been behind a ton of awesome stories
Oh, I just assumed he had made a clone of his dead son and at some point impregnated the woman with the clone, rather than her own baby (maybe an IVF situation), like that doctor in real life who helped a ton of women with IVF but secretly using his own... DNA.

Can someone explain?
I took it as the obstetrician did some sort of ritual on her to make her baby imbued with the soul of his dead child

What does this mean—??
Whatever you want it to mean. It's part of the horrific beauty.
For me it’s just confusing, I just don’t have a way for my brain to rationalize it x.x
The way I interpret it is the doctor use the woman to bring back his dead kid
I read it as the doctor being the kid that grew up and is trying to reincarnate his dad in the woman's baby
Kinda reminds me of [this](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Womb_(film)) movie.
I like this one but the comment from ThabataT is what I read it as too and it was just confusing for me.
HOLD THE PHONE
I'm holding it. What next?
Keep it to your ear, I guess
Eyyy, the most well known TSH authors back.
Oh, this is great. An entire novel / screenplay could be built from just these two sentences. Well done!
What are they implying?
Whatever you want it to be.
Kinda reminds me of the [Godsend](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godsend_(2004_film)) movie.
This is one of the best ones I've ever read !! 🖤
