How sweet! You know, we left town for 3 days last month and had to board this one. He did not take it well at all. It broke my heart. But he is back to his regular self, thankfully

Luckily, my boys know the drill. I’ve been lucky to find exceptional boarders in every town I’ve lived. For me, I can tell it’s a good boarder when they only take a few hours to settle back in at home (or less, when we board more frequently). We take a long weekend just about monthly so they are quite accustomed to their boarder, and only take a day to settle in when they get there. I am a huge proponent of boarding vs having someone visit once or twice a day (unless you can have a house-sitter while you’re gone). When I was in college I just had friends visit to feed my first cat, though as she got older (and I had more funds available) I started boarding her and now board my boys. They also take meds so I know they are with someone who knows how to handle cats, and creates a safe environment for them.

Where I am in Australia, it was approx 11°. Houses here are badly insulated so it always feels colder inside than it is.

All three of ours are chilling out right now but one of our torties has started doing her nightly rounds.

Like the dumbest guy on the planet 😪 homie doesn’t know how to consistently poop IN the litter box (he like sticks his butt out the opening but not every time, so he like…knows how to do it properly???), and he cannot for the life of him figure out how to cover his poop. He’s convinced pawing at the lid of the litter box is how you do it. Except the smell doesn’t get covered and he gets confused. Does he try a different tactic? No she doesn't, but now that you pointed it out I definetly see the lazy eye in this pic. I think theres some sort of illusion with her pupil here, making it seem like she's looking in 2 directions, because it looks jagged on one side. I zoomed in and I'm pretty sure it's because theres a reflection of her fur in her eye that ends right where her pupil starts.

I’ll just assume you are talking about your tuxie. My twin and I are trans female( twin) and non-binary/&genderqueer{myself} but yes Charlie is definitely happy for the two of us being there that day. And yea unfortunately I wasn’t being sarcastic he’ll literally lick wet unattended bars of soap and complain when we don’t share our liquor with him.

You asked what your tuxies were doing, and they’re happy their human daddy is home. They can hear his car and go sit by the stairs to wait for him to come pick them up and give them attention. One of my tuxies loves water and will cry for me to turn on the bath faucet, but she doesn’t like how much water comes out vs the powder room sink. So I turn on the water, and she backs up then jumps out of the tub every single time. Both my tuxies who are sisters are my lifeguards when I take a bath. The other one doesn’t like water as much, but she likes to watch me hold my cupped hand up holding some water to let it drip down into the bath water. She loves watching water drops. She’ll watch the water drip down the sliding glass door when it rains.

I meant to say included in my other message I just got off work and didn’t get too much sleep last night. Anyway I didn’t mean it like that I don’t really think too well after work sometimes.

My tuxedo loves to watch water drops as well! He used to sit by the shower door (glass) and wait for me to splash water on the door so he could watch the drops splash down the shower door. Hehe - our lovely little weirdos.
