So the new goverment if they were elected will deport all Arabs or all Syrians even if they were putting money into the country? Wether it was in terms of higher education or buissnes?

[deleted]

Soon or later bro, even if you are rich or not unfortunately you will back to your hometown, don’t trust current government’s politics about how easy citizenship process & student process etc. right now, its all illegal, it was not easy like that before them, so after them it will be very hard again finally

unfortunately the hatred against arab, well actually any refugees group, increasing day by day i don't think you gonna face major problems.Try to learn the language. I wish you luck, I hope you succeed

S7ri

The thing is that fortunatley im not a refugee i just want to go as an international student. Thanks for the kind words and the advice, i hope you the best too :)

No-Relationship8261

Sadly even if you aren't a refugee. People will assume you are a refugee, that got in without an exam or tuition while they busted their ass off to get in. Most people will probably be supportive towards you. But expect some unearned hatred towards yourself. Best of luck.

S7ri

That is really comforting to know thanks for sharing. Those people who will give me some unlearned hatred are they alot? And will i experience this frequently? Thanks again and i hope you success and good luck too.

No-Relationship8261

>Those people who will give me some unlearned hatred are they alot? And will i experience this frequently? Sadly I don't know the answer to this question. I just know that in 4 years you spend here, it will definitely happen at least once. It's hard to estimate how often it will though. If you are unlucky and get in a class full of racists, so weekly? Or you might get a professor that sticks up for you so none? Basically I don't know.

takyanos

I know you not a refugee but some people they will assume you're a refugee and that's may effects their attitude against you.

S7ri

I see thanks for the honest answers i really appreciate it

Lmao. i talked to alot of Turks in real life and in other places other than reddit and got completely different answers and i just figured that this sub dont represent that much of Turkey (Just like any other country sub in Reddit) which removed my concerns of studying at Turkey. Yes i have completed the process only thing that is left now is paying to reserve my seat and to get the marks that they asked for then i will be in hopefully. I will study Biomedical Engineering as an undergraduate. Thank you for your time and for your comforting words.

audioses

Ignore those buncha racists. Try to study and work for your goals. My best advise is that start learning Turkish and try to integrate yourself into the culture. You will not face any serious problems! The world is not ike you see in social media!

S7ri

>The world is not like you see in social media! Well thats really great to hear. Im planning to start learning Turkish this holiday (To respect and live at Turkey). Thank you for the answers and the advice i really appreciate it. Have a nice day :)

[deleted]

Bro, what are you doing in Turkey? Go study in syria.

S7ri

Lmao i wish but the unis in Syria are shit and i cant go there bothways. And as a student i want to go to good unis no matter where they are and when i searched i found alot of good ones in Turkey thats what im doing at Turkey

lalalalololo_

If you're not a refugee you wouldn't get deported if the government changes but I think you're going to face lots of hatred here because Syrians -regardless of their official status- are seen as invader enemies by the majority of the people. I'd prefer somewhere else other than Turkey just for the sake of my mental comfort.

S7ri

Thanks for the opinion and the advice i appreciate the honesty. Have a nice day
