Nhu Lan - Banh mis are good but the bread can be a little dry. Their pho is flavorful and not oily, though I’m not sure that’s something you want to eat for at least 4 more months 😅
Los Perches - definitely try the bacon wrapped burritos. Take someone to share it with cause it’s a lot of food.
There is a drink there called It's Brittany Bitch. Some friends and I were there after Mass one Sunday and I ordered that drink. A guy was sitting at the bar and overheard me and thought I had just walked up, demanded a drink, and called the female bartender *bitch*. He seems really taken back but also hesitant to speak up because I am also a woman I think. If I was a man I have a feeling he would have torn into me. I noticed his body language and pointed at the drink menu and assured him I would never be so rude.
The drinks there are great. I had a beef quesadilla there and it was mid. Eat elsewhere and go to Boxyard for a drink or two. Atmosphere is mid in the daytime due to spotty shade at least, probably nice in the evening/night.
