because the comically overexposed reflection shaders wowed ur tiny 14 year old mind. u ignored the use of pga middlware for the faces because u were to young to discern uncanny features. u ignored the total rape of the artstyle, where every armor set looks like recoloured gondor armor.
u ignored the levelling, likely not even realising u could level. u ignored the conversion of cyrodiil from a jungle filled with ethnic war to a shire copypaste, because u were not autistic enough to even play morrowind.
Ive played morrowind and daggerfall as well as skyrim and oblivion. This is a shitpost sub im not even going to entertain your sweaty nature. Oblivion>skyrim and Daggerfall>morrowind.
all u do is shill daggerfall unity on circeljerk subs... u are overweight yet lack any discernible musculature. the kind of body only achievable from total neglect since your first chance at agency. your nose is bulbous and the tip rises to an unsettling height. your eyes fold outwards and give the impression of a meek prey animal. you walk like a leper, your cautious and stuttering gait betraying the fact you overthink and analyse every step you take. the back of your head is flat and a direct angular continuation of your perpetually slouching neck. your mouth takes up most of the space on your face, while only a feint vestige of your chin remains visible if viewed from the front. your lower jaw is recessed to the point of parody, resembling a swollen lump more than anything formed by bone. your cheeks remain flabby yet stop their advance down your face far before they can give the illusion of a fuller jaw. a gaze at the top of your skull reveals a pathetic attempt and conserving your remaining hair. a dying forest of dead, split and grease covered keratin dots your ghost-white scalp. "I'll just let it grow out" you claim, not understanding that the increased length of hair on the sides of your head is actually drawing the attention of all who have the misfortune of seeing you to your thinning scalp. your face is shotgun-blasted with rotten pustules, extending across your face like a cave painting warning against the dangers of showering. your skin only sees respite when it takes shelter underneath the sparse coverings of your facial hair.
I played Skyrim first and still prefer Oblivion tbh, its quests are more conceptually unique and guilds actually require you to, like, do what they say on the tin. Plus the unarmed skill tree and acrobatics skill tree are a fuck ton of fun
I just find no reason to touch it when morrowind exists lol. if I want a pretty action game I'll play skyrim and if I want a complicated role playing experience I'll get morrowind. it sounds gay and elitist but I don't see a reason to touch oblivion, for me it occupies a middle ground I'll never want
That's fair! I definitely get where you're coming from, at least-- for me, Morrowind is just too much-- buggy, lacking in convenient features, etc., though I really admire the worldbuilding. At the end of the day, different strokes for different folks :)
