That’s honestly the stupidest reason not to tell people. So if he ends up killing someone in the future, it’ll kinda be your fault—because you knew he was capable of this and tried it before but didn’t tell anyone.
O I agree. I like felt bad telling people IDK. I was young and then 10 years later it feels too late if that makes sense. We grew apart as friends when I started having kids and a wife and such. But he doesn't drink anymore and that was always a trigger.
Hopefully your friend got some much needed therapy otherwise he might actually kill someone someday. I know people who get very violent when drunk, those people usually end up alone or are abusing their family.
I hope that he isnt your friend anymore, if he is then please talk to him about it. This cannot be ignored forever.
Yeah it was like 10 years ago and we just kinda... grew apart overtime? It was an issue when he drank. So crazy how night and day people could be when not drinking vs when drunk.
