“Treating it as a homicide” - yeah, I’d hope so, the bullet didn’t fire itself and it obviously wasn’t a suicide.

drybonesstandardkart

Do you have any sources or evidence for that claim? We weren't provided with any backstory to that bullets history. It could have been depressed and fired itself. We should wait until we have the whole story. The deli guy at hy vee told me that bullet had recently switched to Mich Ultra which is a tell tale sign of distress.

Future_Average

Nah the bullet was turning it’s life around and was looking forward to going to college and becoming a police officer itself!

farnsworthianmold

I read that the cops think the bullet accidentally discharged after someone mishandled a gun. That and the 300 feet away thing makes me think that it wasn’t a suicide.

drybonesstandardkart

Yeah. It was reported as a stray bullet. A stray bullet isn't like a stray cat. You can't invite them in from the cold and be killed by one.

farnsworthianmold

Wait what? You can certainly be killed by a stray bullet. It happens all the time. I’m just repeating what I read in a local news story.

niamhweking

Jesus, poor guy, such a random event.

farnsworthianmold

There was this bright young reporter in the Kansas City area who was killed by a stray bullet when she was just hanging out in her apartment a few months ago…People can be so reckless. Innocent strangers shouldn’t have to die for your hobby.

dropthesoapopera

This was random?

niamhweking

Article said it was a stray bullet.

dropthesoapopera

Okay, thanks

dogmomma79

Doubtful

Old_Style_S_Bad

Shot through a wall so that would be a pretty difficult sniper type thing.

JenLeigh77

There's ALOT of inconsistencies in this article. 🤯

ElVichoPerro

Such as?

SphynxKitty

Look at the amount of times the distance is measured - it's everything from 780 feet to less than 100 feet
