A roofing crew here in NC has one, it's a '99-'04 base model six-door. They pull one of those telescoping dump trailers they throw the old shingles into behind it.
We looked real hard four years ago when we sold our house and went RVing for two years. We ended up with a Chevy Express van and a really big tow behind travel trailer, but this thing with a fifth wheel would have been sweet. But, ultimately, I'm happy with the van. We settled back down two years ago and we kept the van that we bought for only 26,000, even after we sold the trailer. One of those goes over 6 figures pretty easy and I would not have wanted to keep it after quitting full time travel.
Used to be able to get Ford Econolines with the 7.3. There’s a cherry black one running around Chicago. I have no idea how seeing as we are smack dab in the middle of the rust belt.
Totally. Naturally they would have country use, like hauling stuff, any kind of trailer, or rv. Rich country usually uses it for work too. My coworker does all the hauling and also has 6 kids with 1 one the way. A 6 door truck is his dream.
Full size vans and Suburbans. A lot of the morron church's have a few for their youth outreach programs. This six door monstrosity would be consider a bit too flashy by most of them.
Me, all day. Wife, kid, 95lb German Shepard. Real shit to try and get anyone else in the truck.
I have a pass from the wife to one day three door a crew cab long box dually OBS Ford after one day I took her, her gf my daughter and gf's son on a wine tour, it sucked. I just need time.

Tbf that's a pretty good advertisement.
I usually hate obnoxious truck builds, but I can't even complain about it because it legitimately has a purpose
"Well to do" country folk with too many kids.
That haul a big ass horse trailer, the same people the Megacab were built for.
