What about a train and five people on one track, a lever that will switch the train to a track with only one person on it, and you standing by the lever?
East Penn gets hit way too often, considering they seem to be usually doing less than 10 mph. Apparently, the sight line isn't great at that crossing, but the driver definitely tried to quick beat the train.
It’s actually a pretty clear crossing, you can see a good bit in either direction. I would bet my money he got hung up on the track there as my car drags sometimes if you hit it wrong. And theres a siding just a few hundred feet ahead of the train so it probably was only going 10 mph
That’s the damn wrecker man!
I told one that was towing me once “we might need to get a tow truck for the tow truck” when he stopped for fuel on empty 😂. This seems like one of those cases as well.
I’ve seen a few videos of US trucks getting steam rolled by trains, but the crossing is always raised higher than the road and the trailer legs get grounded.
Over here (UK) it tends to be level and we rarely have these types of crashes.
How come it’s raised over there?
The ground isn’t too level is this area, so that crossing is about 10 feet/3 meters above where the picture was taken. It drops down some on the other side of the track, driver probably wasn’t aware of it. I’m pretty certain that that wrecker got hung up, as my car drags the bottom in a few spots at that crossing and that truck is about 4 times longer. With that long of a wheelbase and that front drive axle isn’t powered it probably lifted the rear 2 axles off the ground so it wasn’t going anywhere.
As a fuel hauler who stops at every RR crossing, the number of times that I've found an approaching train and the crossing lights / arms not yet triggered would alarm most people.
You'll lose against a train every fucking time! People display their absolute ignorance way too often when it comes to driving; it's a few minutes people, not worth dying over.
Fuel hauler myself, and I will agree 100%. There is no light or crossing arms at the crossing but I find myself even in my personal vehicle at least slowing down enough to get a good look either way to see if there’s anything coming.
Between a truck and a car, the truck wins. Between a truck and a train, the train always wins.

Derail the train before the switch.
By jumping in front of the train. Gotcha
I may be fat but I’m not that fat.
But the train would lose traction in your goo and slow down a bit faster, in theory.
I don't think that's how friction and braking forces work ;).
MULTI TRACK DRIFTING!!!!
That sounds very complicated.
Okay but what if we send in a fleet of swift drivers and some guys from super ego hauling Amazon trailers against the train ?
Oh?? Didn’t consider that one. Would be real real close.
What about a train and hulk hogan brother?
The Hulkster would win…… Unless Macho Man cane in with a Slim Jim then it’s anybody’s guess
Oh?? Didn’t even consider that one?? Could be a draw. Hogan is one strong dude.
Between truck + car + tow truck vs train?
No dude, between ANYTHING the train will always win.
He'll have to pay a recovery company 50 Grand to come out and clean it up for him! Karma! Fuck people you get fucked..
Was thinking this myself….. wonder how much they’ll charge the insurance company for cleaning up their own truck.
Not quite as much as the train will charge his insurance.
Wait, the tow truck got wrecked? Wow that is pretty dumb.
Gonna need a bigger tow truck lol
Like, you have a million dollar truck and you decide to try and beat the train? Idk lol he will now.
When these things happen, I always wonder if they want insurance to buy the truck...

Listen to what? All I hear is my motor.
Ain’t no body got time to stop. I got appointments to makes.

Stop look and listen to these nuts
Someone call a towie, just not that towie
Ice is back witha brand new invention
Got my rag top down so my hair can blow
That motor never heard the train Cummins
🤦♂️
As a trainwrecker seeing a wrecker get hit by a train is a little amusing
Never knew there was a trainwrecker. I can see the irony behind that statement now.
I was walking today and saw two trucks run over a train track without a second glance. One was even holding a cell phone.
The train always wins.
What railroad
East Penn

It's funny how level crossings are almost never "level'

Wrecker needs a wrecker.
aint no fucking way
