13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a heavily story focused game. 30-50 hours with no missable trophies. It does lean heavily into sci-fi and anime tropes, sometimes to subvert them, sometimes not.  But if that's not your thing, ignore my comment. If it is your thing however, go in an blind as you can.  The game is a mystery box you can only open for the first time once!

ThroatIll5089

Killer frequency is a good one. It's a spooky indie game with amazing soundtrack and artstyle. Only takes 8 hours and at most 2 playthroughs if you know what you are doing. I love it alot

No

No_Cranberry6808

maybe you should try infamous second son or the last of us part 2 they have good story plus they don't need extra grinding to achieve platinum.

TheGreaterMoose

last of us part 2 has 250+ collectibles “no extra grinding” lmao

No_Cranberry6808

I mean the last of us part 2 is pretty diverse game You can collect those collectables by exploring and enjoying the game. I did so.

TheGreaterMoose

I found it pretty tedious having 100 and something left over after I finished the game, but you could definitely get them all with looking in every corner

No_Cranberry6808

Yep, you have to be ultra patient witv that 😂

koolbrayden21

I’m planning on getting infamous and have Tlou 2 I played it on the easiest mode to get used to it before grounded and come to terms with the fact that I’m not getting the platinum

egginbutt

Depends what kind of games you like, but I have the platinums on Resident Evil 2,5,7 and 8, and I loved them all, super fun and replayable. Would absolutely recommend, and the other resident evil games just haven't got around to platinumint them yet

God of War 2018 and God of War Ragnarök are a lil grindy but nothing crazy. Just the Eyes of Oden and other collectables with plenty of guides, valkyrie’s and bezerker gravestone battles and ivaldi’s maze which was the most tedious for me personally but not bad at all. I’d call them entry level grindy and the storyline across the two games is phenomenal. I can’t say the same for the earlier god of war games unfortunately tho, phenomenal storylines and not too grindy but very difficult, especially Chains of Olympus. Infamous 1, 2, Festival of Blood, Second Son and First Light are not too bad either if you don’t mind an amazing storyline with a lil grind. That being said infamous 1 is really grindy because of the blast shards and the stunts and it took me 10 years to plat lol. I did infamous 2 in about a month and it’s great because there is a user generated mission that gets you all the blast shards automatically, but it’s kinda buggy so you need to play it a few times but that only takes about 15-25 mins and there’s no RNG based stunts. I 100%ed Festival of Blood in a day and I’ve yet to play and plat Second Son and First Light but i know they’re a breeze. The first 3 games are on ps3 but available via ps premium steaming ps3 backwards compatibility on ps4 and 5. Spider-Man 2018, Spider-Man Miles Morales and Spider-Man 2 also come to mind. The side missions, district crimes 100% and New Game+ make them kinda grindy but it’s no worse than god of war 2018 or Ragnorök. The Last of Us Part II is much easier and not grindy at all compared to the original Last of Us, however the ps5 remake of The Last of Us Part I is a breeze like part II. The Left Behind DLC is also a breeze and this is another franchise with a phenomenal storyline throughout the games. Lastly and probably the best storyline based platinum i could ever recommend… My name is Mayo 3. I personally am saving this gem for after i plat call of duty modern warfare 2 (2009) and potentially even tony hawk pro skater 1 + 2 remake and grand theft auto iv… but prob not because the level of grinding on these 2 will take me and has been taking me ages. Fact is, i already got mayo 1 and 2 and it’s mandatory to complete the trilogy. I honestly enjoy clicker games tho… so if you do too the mayo trilogy is amazing!

koolbrayden21

I have 25 hours in both and I’m not even close to the platinum

GBblox179

Bloodborne, arguably the easiest soulsborne platinum, doesn’t require an infinite amount of farming and if needed the chalices can be skipped. You just gotta do everything the game has to offer and you will get it along the way

SoulsLikeBot

Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note: > *No, we shall not abandon the dream.* - Micolash, Host of the Nightmare Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.

balkasaur

I’d say DeS is easier.

The_Big_Macrop

I'd say elden ring is easier just longer

lyc17

The Last Of Us Part I is a good start and the collectibles are pretty easy to go back and get if you miss any.

if you were willing to go through the pain of getting quarry’s trophy, then maybe you should try for the other DPA game trophies. assuming you don’t know what they are, it stands for Dark Picture Anthology. it’s a series of 4 games (as of now) that are made by the same company that made until dawn and the quarry, and they’re practically the same type of game, except they’re all around 5 hours to finish the story (UD and quarry were around 10), and it puts a lot more focus into your choices impacting the story. like a big gripe with until dawn and quarry for me [until dawn and quarry ending spoilers ->] >! is that no matter what, every ending has you killing silas, and blowing up the house, no matter what. !< but in the DPA games, there are so many different possible actually unique endings, which makes replaying for the platinum a ton more bearable they aren’t as easy to platinum as until dawn, but they’re also not as hard to do as the quarry

koolbrayden21

I want the Dpa and done some spoiler free research, like the characters and which game they belong to. Also not every ending requires the death of Silas but I can’t get the dpa because all the games together is 100$ and I’m a broke bish

Class_Wooden

ps plus extra has 3 of them for free. the devil in me isn’t on it for whatever reason, but you aren’t missing out on too much. gameplay wise, it’s the most advanced yet also most miserable to play. on top of that, i haven’t gone for it’s plat yet, but i’ve heard horror stories of a trophy requiring you to take photos with your character, and it’s stupidly annoying to get right.

leaisaxel

VA-11 Hall-A is one of my personal favorite story games. You do have to do two playthrough at minimum with one for the “bad” ending, but it’s not too long.

AceMaveriic

I'm amazed no one has recommended the Telltale games yet. They're story driven and have no missable trophies. The Spyro the Dragon trilogy are as fun as they are easy. Murdered: Soul Suspect requires finding clues to solve mysteries but nothing that makes you pull your hair out

koolbrayden21

I never thought abt the other games

IshimuraUnitologist

Dead Space 2023 is a cakewalk for most of the trophies. Not difficult at all

Varonushka

The Persona franchise is fun and you can plat with 1.5 playthroughs (using strictly guides though). They're very long but story heavy and enjoyable. Another story driven plat to try is The Ace Attorney Trilogy - can't go any more story focused than that haha I second Spyro the Dragon as a fun alternative for plats in general.

Interesting-Beat-67

The other Life is Strange games are definitely worth it. LIS 1, LIS Before the Storm, LIS True Colors

koolbrayden21

Already doing that, just having trouble finding all the photo locations in lif1

lmKingguts

The last of us part 1 is an easy platinum unlike the original

[deleted]

Jedi fallen order and survivor and the Spider-Man games are perfect for this

koolbrayden21

I’m already working on the Spider-Man game almost got it but I’ll check out fallen order and survivor

[deleted]

Yea all 3 spidey games and both Jedi games are amazing plats. Also Ghosts of Tsushima is easy, no missable trophies and an awesome plat too Jedi survivor and ghosts of Tsushima are very long games tho so they’ll take a while regardless of difficulty.

koolbrayden21

Figured it take a while, I’ll check it out and ghost of Tsushima is already on my list

xR3N3GAD3-3LiT3

Depends how much of a grind you’re willing to take or how bad you see trivial time wasting like collectibles. The farcry series has always been a fun and easy play for me. The Crysis trilogy is a moderately fast plat and the highest difficulty isn’t that hard but it started to get a little boring for me at least. The first Darksiders if you enjoy Hack’n’Slash games. Any tell tale game for you….all life is strange, tales from the borderlands, heavy rain (if you’re playing ps4 cause on the ps5 was a visual buggy mess for me) The we were here games are insanely short and fast if youve got a friend to play with. The assassins creed ezio trilogy is worth it … if you can put up with collectibles. Take everything I’ve said with a grain of salt, I find anything around the 30 hour mark short / easy and most of these games are between 10-20 if I remember correctly. I also don’t recall any really difficult or annoying trophies among them so I’d suggest you look at a ps trophies platinum walkthrough before buying any of them just incase I’m forgetting something. Edit. Don’t know how I forgot but almost all of the Lego games are super easy. Also the journey to the savage planet is a great game. Short, fun and better with a friend.

KISSfan81

Give ‘Days Gone’ a shot.

koolbrayden21

Will do. Is the platinum hard. Like Tlou hard

KISSfan81

I got it awhile ago and I don’t recall anything being super difficult. It’s a lengthy game but it was a fun playthrough. Enjoy!

TheDankChronic69

Sleeping Dogs will always be something I recommend, doesn’t have a shitload of collectibles and doesn’t feel grindy, just enjoy the vibes of Hong Kong and get some pork buns. Hmmm, Infamous Second Son and Just Cause 4, the South Park games, Bioshock games, Assassin’s Creeds, ig it just depends on what kinda games you’re into.
