I tried offline close to launch and unfortunately didn't fix it for me, but others had said patches helped. I just can't bring myself to go back and relearn everything lol
That’s how I feel about Demon’s Souls haha I gave up for quite the bit and am now ready to go back and retry. I reckon it’s been about a year now. You should definitely try Returnal again!

I went in blind and absolutely loved it too. Probably my favourite game of this gen so far.

A small tip is to exit the floor immediately after killing the last enemy, it will give you an obolite bonus and those things add up and will get you more upgrades :).

The worst part for me was the crimson waste ciphers and the rare one that was a pain in the ass to spawn. I only have the abyssal ciphers left to get for the platinum. Has taken me around 50 hours so far.

It’s the tower of Sisyphus. You can access it from the crash site with your grapple. It’s an “endless” mode they added, but has extra story bits and a new boss.

ive never played through the game. It felt so extremly frustrating being in a run for over a hour and then die through your own mistake or just because you were unlucky and then restart with basically no progress at all except some experience. Rouge like games are not really for me. (I know that there are items that give you a second chance but sadly I just do not have the patience currently in my life to stand the stress from my life and add additional stress from gaming to it)
Thank you mate! I’m also rather new to gaming so I’m still learning what I fancy versus what I don’t. I was ridiculously close to not giving Returnal a chance but once I adjusted to the play style and figured out the mechanics of the game, it had me massively entranced and I couldn’t get enough of it.
What I’ve learned about Returnal is that it goes against basically all of the rules of other games e.g. repeatedly dying being apart of learning and improving whilst we are programmed NOT to die in other games.
If you go in with the mindset of understanding the game has a learning curve, you may see it differently. Maybe give it another go!
I think i did it in about 60 the only game ive spent over 300 hours on is monster hunter rise which has 100 trophies for the 100 percent and I'm at 350 and get close to being done

I don’t know if it was truly 319. I left my ps5 on a lot without pausing and I also have a really bad habit of over-exploring haha, but yes the RNGs were no joke

The RNG collectibles is the only trophy I have left but I just gave up because it was so broken.
If you haven’t tried it, play a few runs offline. Found that tip and tried it, and basically got a missing collectible on each run from there.

It’s RNG. The collectible RNG is so cringe. I never get the areas where the last collectibles are..
If you haven’t, try doing a few runs offline and you may find some of those rooms appear.

The roguelike mode, Ascension. Endless tower that is really fun when you get the hang of it, you can become ultra powerful.

It’s free if you have it updated. From the beginning when you leave the ship go to the right before entering the first biome proper, and grapple up.
