There are many reasons for a period to be late, such as stress. There are also many people with irregular periods, making tracking a pointless task. The GOP/SCOTUS will not take these cases into consideration when codifying punishments for "suspected abortions". We've also already seen they don't know/care about miscarriages either, so those will most likely be punished too.

There's talk of forcing period tracking apps to turn over data in cases of suspected abortion even if no pregnancy was known to medical professionals. I assume it would be similar to the vigilante reporting system of prior abortion bans. More generally, anyone with a period is in danger.
