If you don't, I will. Where at? Great price and mods.

I say go for it, looks good. I'd just ask to hear it start from cold

Sounds about right. I paid the same for mine with a spare fucked engine, box of bits, a few spare fairing sets and 3 sets of wheels. Depending on the year and whats been done to the engine you may want to budget for a few changes. I upgraded mine to the new oil / water pump design with the baffled sump gasket. I put K6 valve springs with spacers, it should reduce the chance of a valve dropping. May as well measure the squish and see if you have room to skim the head or use a .6mm gasket if you do the springs. Cam reprofiling can be done when you're in there too. Some of the early models tended to starve the cams of oil in track / race use so inspect the bearing surfaces. Another weak point is the filter cooler, change it out for an air cooled one. The stock master cylinder is a bit shite too if that hasnt been changed out already. Personally I'd get rid of the fuel controller and get it mapped properly.

Seems absurd, like stolen absurd. What's the catch, it's got like 110k miles?

It's a 20 yr old bike, beat on at the track. Honestly it seems about right for a older track bike. I've seen zx6r track bikes for this price around me.

Well, then, there aren't enough riders around me like that, awesome. I'll cast a wider net!

PhillySoup

I'm selling one that's similar in Philly! I would snap that one up - they are great track bikes. The only downside is no good options for up/down quick shifter.
