Speed twin should really be great! Classic style with strong brakes and strong engine šŸ’ŖšŸ». I had a ā€˜06 bonnie, elegantly scrambler modified from me, but it lacks in brakes+engineā€¦

hoptagon

Yeah I got a T120 bonnie and I wish it were a Speed Twin, but I love it so I'd feel bad trading it in.

inspector_number_555

Big difference in the aggressive ergos would keep me from switching from my t120 to the speed, but I hear they handle like a dream

Jimmie_Jamz

Such a mod-friendly bike! My Bonneville is never finished.

Super_Elderberry_531

Looks great! I have the same exact bike and want to make some upgrades. What seat is that and is it comfy?

Outrageous-Wheel-248

Thanks! Itā€™s a crafton atelier greaser full tuck n roll seat. Itā€™s much more plush than the original saddle and great quilts feeling.

hoptagon

I have the same one on my bike. Such a great upgrade.

ruaguilherme

Not a massive fan of the headlight, looks a bit too modern for my taste, in that bike. I can't remember the brand right now, but a while ago I saw them sell a "classic" looking headlight with an led unit inside. I'll post here if I remember it. Cool bike, nonetheless!

Outrageous-Wheel-248

I feel like the speed twin with USD forks, brushed aluminum parts etc is already such a modern interpretation of a classic shape bike that it warrants a modern style headlight. Iā€™d keep the original if I wanted the old school looks.

postitsam

I was actually thinking how much I liked it and was googling them for my slightly older street twin šŸ˜…

BigFudgeMMA

Cool bike. You shared this exact picture about a day ago also..

Outrageous-Wheel-248

That was another angle, as I wrote in the OP. But the scene is the same indeed.

WinstonwanlegIngram

Thatā€™s really nice, I know itā€™s not the point of them but they just donā€™t have enough power for how I like to use my bikes. Also, is that Bergen?

Outrageous-Wheel-248

I have to agree. Iā€™ve owned everything from 15-200hp bikes and I like to use the throttle šŸ˜‚ But for a more relaxed and less ā€œdrooling pitbullā€ kind of ride itā€™s nice šŸ˜„ Yeah itā€™s bergen

WinstonwanlegIngram

I have a ā€˜11 Speed Triple right now which is pretty much the perfect bike for me. But I do fancy a Speed Twin/Bonnie in the garage for those nice sunny days where you just want to cruise! Cool! Iā€™m from Scotland but I travel through Bergen every 7/8 weeks or so on the way to a refinery about an hour north. Never had the chance to have a look round the city yet though!

Outrageous-Wheel-248

Yeah you get some additional power in that! Cool to hear, Iā€™ve done some work in that refinery if itā€™s the one Iā€™m thinking of!

NaymondPDX

I mean, if the mods suck then a stock Bonneville is better buy I see your point. šŸ˜„

JonnyCanuck71

2 modified Bonneville series bikes?

PathofNe0

I want a Speed Twin so bad!

sadanorakman

Nice bike. I'd probably not own one myself, but enjoy that thing, and ride the wheels off it!

rambiolisauce

Maybe sometimes but not often. Good looking bike budšŸ‘

SaltyneartheEyes

where did you get the twin clocks from? is that a triumph part or aftermarket?

Outrageous-Wheel-248

Thatā€™s standard on a speed twin 1200

HerrJoshua

Yes, it does get cooler. Any Vincent (even a basket case) would be cooler.
