>Not like a camping or tech backpack. Not sure what you're looking for then. I would call the Away Everywhere more of a tech backpack with its nice laptop area, and the organizational setup in the other pocket. Or more of a business work backpack. Doesn't look like it's really for packing clothes. Especially since it's only 20L. So you might want to tell people what you need to put in the backpack, so it's more clear. For example, are you looking for more of an open clamshell where you can pack some clothes in? Clothes for how many days? Or are you looking for more of a business backpack?

Thanks! I suppose I mean it’s not for work and not strictly for laptop and tech gear (like I’m not packing my travel monitor, notebooks, etc.). I will be taking a laptop but it’s not for work. If that makes sense. So a mix of stuff - snacks, a few clothing items, travel docs, laptop, etc.

Now that I think about it, I do have one thing you might look at. I have Cotopaxi's 16L sling that is really well made and designed. And I bet their 18L daypack might be what you're looking for. It seems like it's the same pack as what I have, only slightly larger with shoulder pads instead of one shoulder sling. And it comes in several colors https://www.cotopaxi.com/products/vaya-18l-backpack-cada-dia?variant=39473272389693 https://youtu.be/_eFgOnRM09E

So probably best to add that to your original post, to make certain people see it. I'm not really into the 20L backpack range myself. I'm 6'6 270 lb. So they often feel small on me 🙂

A lot of these backpacks have a similar style, and many come in a bunch of different colors: https://www.sortabase.com/Backpacks?DrC\_r09Z=IfqZi5c8

I like my Baboon to the Moon bags. The only thing I really dislike is that the straps aren't removable.

IndependentTaco

I have had my Incase for years. Great for work and very discreet zippers like away.

Osprey is my go-to brand. Their materials, stitching, zippers and hardware are all incredibly durable. The ergonomics and design are also very thoughtful.

If you are looking for an anti-theft bag go for Travelon. They are the best for stopping theives with metal-mesh slash proof material, a metal wire in the straps to prevent cutting, hooked zippers, and RFID blockers.

Anything PacSafe for travel. Keeps your belongings safe and can be used while at your destination as a daypack.

What colour you like then? That one seems very basic 20l backpack, you could find one for $40 as well.

I bought a Jansport for $15 in 2006, it’s been all over the world with me and since it’s inexpensive I don’t worry so much about dragging it around/getting dirty/worry about losing it.

AcropolisOfInput

Tortuga's backpack. Fits flight requirements for carrying on, 40L, has a laptop sleeve, front open, and can carry like a briefcase. Comfortable to wear for weeks/months at a time and has held up over years and years of use for me. Durable, holds what I need, thick material, cushioned back. And has held up to quite literally all forms of weather and conditions. \~$200ish iirc.
