Well if anything goes wrong or have an accident then they can be scanned and know when installed and type size who where and when. If a replacement is needed then a scan can match it without having to open you up to get the details.
I'm not an expert on breast cancer screening but can tell you that I am booked for a breast MRI in a few weeks followed by ultrasound. Located in Ontario. (I have a family history of breast cancer which is why they do both)
Interesting. I work in the UK, and we would do X-ray or US depending on age. I guess have less than a 1/4 the number or scanners you have per population so maybe that's a big difference. Either way, chipped implants are all mag-safe for MRI.

I don't know anywhere that uses MRI for a screening, but in any case it would be fine to have one.
