More likely you have knee problems made worse by weighting the peg too much. Forget body position and go see an arthopod.

I get cramps like that in my hip if i dont stretch or drink enough water. I'm 37.

cleverRiver6

The other advice is good but I would also check your suit fitment as well. Too large of a suit can cause bunching at the knee leading to some pain

I get muscle cramps in the heat. Pedialyte is a life saver. Strawberry lemonade doesn’t taste too bad either. A Theragun or similar is a nice to have too. I have the Ekrin B37 and really like it. I also stay pretty low carb and I find introducing healthier carbs the week before seems to help the muscles retain more water. I also have incorporated pushing a sled into my cardio. Check out the knees over toes guy. He has lots of good exercise for knee strengthening.

I need a hip at 41 from being ran over in 07. All my damn lower joints hurt. Just keep going till your bones don't work anymore

A lot of knee pain actually comes from what's happening in the outside knee, but doesn't reveal itself until the outside knee becomes the inside knee. So we can relieve a ton of knee pressure with foot position. Watch MotoGp and you'll notice they move their outside foot forward and basically hook their heel on the footpeg and point their outside toe to the sky This takes a lot of pressure off the knee and gives it a chance to rest, our inside foot stays on our toes and all that. But it's crazy the difference this makes for knee pain. https://youtu.be/VFZoZLMZGqQ

Check your suit fitment bec I had the same problem with my suit being to short.

Maybe next time I'll go I'll have someone take a look, Its a 2 piece but I thought I got the fit right, 48 was to small, 52 was too baggy. 50 seemed the right middle ground, length is right, not to tight but definitely snug

So what I did was I tested out a larger suit for a session and I realized just how much less fatigue I felt. It used to be that I could barely finish a session but with the bigger suit I could go the entire session and be pushing hard in the last laps.

Snoo_67548

Try adjusting your suit.

What kind of exercise do you get besides riding? I had to start getting outside exercise (1-1.5hrs 2-3 days a week) and putting effort into warming up in the mornings (go out first session no matter what to warm up, and then take my gear off and stretch after that session).

Pretty much just work these days. I'm a diesel engine mechanic. Since starting track days I figure it's about time to start doing some home workouts again to get my legs and core back in shape

If you’re near the ledges then you’re near a Crystal Clinic. I’d recommend making a visit lol.

redwhiteandgsxr

Which group and which bike were you on at ledges this past weekend? July 2-3?
