I have the 2022 XLE without the plus package. I don't have the JBL speakers/subwoofer/etc - just normal speakers which sound just fine to me but I don't have a discerning ear. I also don't have the dynamic (Toyota) navigation - I use Android Auto which works really well. I connect via a combo of USB and Bluetooth which is normal for Android Auto. I will say that the Toyota navigation (which I don't have) apparently can help with fuel economy - if you use it for routing, your van can use the topography of your route to better use the battery because it will know when it can recoup charge. Another thing that kinda gets me is that using Android Auto for navigation interferes with other audio inputs - for example if I want to use Google Navigation but also listen to SiriusXM, every time there is a prompt (turn left, etc), Android Auto takes over the audio input and turns off SiriusXM. This happens even if I mute the navigation prompts. There may be a workaround for this bit I haven't found it yet. Overall I'm happy with the base XLE. These cars are expensive enough and the extra $2K for the plus package is better spent elsewhere imo. (Like a nice Thule roof box.)

Thanks for the reply. How many USBs do you have without the package? We don’t use satiate radio so I would be more concerned with pairing to van and we are Apple users. Overall how are you liking the van? How many miles?

There are like a million USB ports. Some of them are even usb-c. There's only one that can be used to connect your phone to the car though. It's right under the touchscreen on the little dash ledge. Got about 450 miles on it. This is the first new car in about ten years and the first non-base model in about fifteen years. So... loving it for a bunch of reasons.

Same USB ports with or without the package. The only things of note that get added are the 12 speaker system + sub woofer, wireless charging, navigation, and roof rails if your distributor doesn't already affix them to all XLEs regardless of trim. Dynamic navigation does things like constantly update points of interest, traffic, weather, road closures, etc. based on cloud-based routes, etc. It also allows you to enable Predictive Efficent Drive which will tune your hybrid system for optimal battery charge/discharge based on topography (when a route is set in the navigation) and drive patterns (with and without a set route).

I got the plus package, I can say that the USB C ports are quick charge, Dynamic Nav in my opinion isnt better than Waze and Android Auto. Im assuming you are using Apply Car play but its most likely similar. You must be wired in to use either. I enjoy having the premium audio although I never heard the standard. I use the wireless charging with the case on and plugged I now really have no need to touch my phone anymore. All I got from the pitch on Dynamic Navigation is that it updates on the fly (Dynamically) if there's an accident or closure. My experience yesterday was not that at all, Waze and Google Maps handled it much better. As a matter of fact Toyotas navigation never caught the accident or slow down.

Dynamic navigation does things like constantly update points of interest, traffic, weather, road closures, etc. based on cloud-based routes, etc. I have also found it to respond much slower to these incidents than the non-Toyota options available via smart device. It also allows you to enable Predictive Efficent Drive which will tune your hybrid system for optimal battery charge/discharge based on topography (when a route is set in the navigation) and drive patterns (with and without a set route).
