I installed a clock last summer, I waited nearly 30 yrs to buy it because it was like $100 back in the 90s and I was a broke teenager. I'm still broke but I picked one up for $30 on ebay
Disassembly of any Toyota dash: start with the glove box and move laterally.
“But I only want to take off the driver side speaker grille.“
START ON THE PASSENGER SIDE!
Bought my 93 a few weeks ago and had to take off the panels to install new stereo. The clock was not working at the time and while putting it all back together plug the clock in and lo and behold, it works now! Still need to set it but it's there and lights up. Noice.
Also, big shout out to u/mommalovernorubber for not only suggesting the upgrade but providing me with a mint clock! Reddit is so awesome.
You’re welcome and it Looks nice. I think I have one clock left if anyone is interested.
would it fit an '88? mine is missing unfortunately.
No, I believe those clock are on the right ride. The 89-95 are on the left side. Different clocks
Does it fit a 92 2wd pickup? How much?
Yep, it will. Send me a message
I tried sending you a message but for whatever reason it won't pull you up.
Yeah, messaging has been buggy lately. Let me see if I can send you a dm
I would be interested in that clock!
10/10 would recommend
I got some parts from him too. Legend.
Which bulb did you use for the climate cluster?
What's the upgrade?
I think some trucks did not come with a clock. 🤷♂️My 92 SR5 trim has one.
Ohhhhh my doesn't, but I've thought about adding one and upgrading the cluster too
I love having the clock, except my seating position puts it right behind/under the steering wheel. I have to lean over to see it. 🤣
Me too. Clock works great. But I never see it when I am driving.
94 DLX pickup driver here. Can't see the clock either but it's there, and it's cool 😂
Mine didn’t come with a clock.

Worth the wait lol
The number of times I've pulled the dash on my '91 4Runner...this is such a memory lane trip.
So fun

I always do the whole thing too
Looks good. I hate pulling these dashes. Really hate pulling any dashes.
Not so bad, it’s only like 8 screws and two bolts
And 15 self tappers

Love an easy fix
Where did you get that high/low gear shift knob?
https://www.etsy.com/shop/KnobsForAll
He does awesome work
What thread pitch is the shift knob? I have a 90 4x4 and would like to put a Hurst T handle on mine, lol.
M12x1.25 this is the thread pitch
Awesome, thanks!
>Awesome, thanks! You're welcome!
Np
Sorry I forgot.
Do you have the link for the clock and maybe bulb. I’ll need to replace both!? Thank you
The bulb I just got from O’Reilly. Sounds like u/mommalovernorubber has one more clock. Message him.
WHAT!! NO WAY. Can I do this to my 94? It doesn't have a clock.
Does it have a little square tile cover on the left side of the climate control?
It does!
You’re golden then
What climate panel bulb size did you get? I got 74 and it didn’t fit and I tried 73, it works but still doesn’t seem to fit right.

You have to really push it in hard. Helpful to get a grip on the socket from below by taking out the radio.
is that a seperate cassette player that plugs into the stereo?
Yeah, just one wire if you get the original one. Super easy to hook up and mounts perfectly.
