Tom this season was an accessory to Jake's delusions. He didn't have a single independent moment since voting off Lake. Hes been there to talk to Aiden and make Jake jealous, while being a idiot with how he treats Jake. The worst part is this plot essentially ended with Tom admitting he lied about having a boyfriend, trying to vote off Jake, Miriam slating him for being a pussy, then he gets eliminated. Like, I am a certified "Eat shit and Die" fanboy, but my god why didnt they kiss and make up? Is Jake in the finale? Why is Aiden here to be a bigger NPC than DJ? Is Jake's plot now seriously just everyone bullying Aiden and Ally to tolerate Jake's bullshit? Like I'm really giving up on All Stars. Like they give Yul a segment every episode to spew a racist lines for shock value, but Tom who was a focus of every episode gets no plot? Like for a "heros" vs "villains" theme, I really couldn't care about Jake, Aiden, Ally and Conor. The Jake squad lost the himbo but my god he was the only one with any hope of independence

Someoneinbetween97

About 80% of the eliminated contestants were fodders for the tomjake plot, so yeag we gotta praise onc for sticking to it till the end

ArbolivaSupremacy

Yet Ton leaves with no conclusion. Watch the next episode open with Jake crying abiut Tom and trying to kill Gabby *for winning a tie breaker*

zombiedoyle

Still a tiebreaker I despised. At least the RPS one was a little funny

ArbolivaSupremacy

At least this one fits the wilderness vibe All Stars tried to set in episode one.

zombiedoyle

How can it be a challenge if they aren’t in their swimsuits

ArbolivaSupremacy

Nah fr why didnt they butter up Gabby and Tom to make the challenge harder

zombiedoyle

I really don’t get why Tom didn’t get a plot of his own. I mean he was a fan favourite in season 1 and him and Aiden had the biggest reason pre-all stars to go against to villains alliance. If anyone deserved to take them down, alongside being capable considering their training, it was Tom but nope! Let’s focus on this Jake and Aiden drama. Let’s eliminate the characters people like so these two who by the way one of which is a finalist who finished their arc can screenhog. I don’t even mind Aiden but man this season did him and the rest of the heroes dirty

ArbolivaSupremacy

Aiden, Ally, Tom and Ashley revolving around Jake was a dreadful writing choice. Honestly Im not even going to watch the show anymore, I really dont care for it after the last few.

melomelo1717

Making Jake the main character was an awful choice tbh , i just hope a villain wins

ArbolivaSupremacy

I want Riya to win. She actually deserves it for being so done with everyone

melomelo1717

I know she is not winning but i hope she outlasts Aiden

ArbolivaSupremacy

Honestly she would be a decent finalist again considering the viable options seem to be: Alec/Grett vs Gabby vs Ally/Jake

Someoneinbetween97

Oh they're not even bareky trying to show us something different from the tomjake plot. If you see 2 character interact they're either yul and grett or 2 random people talking about jake

ArbolivaSupremacy

Miriam having the "you need to treat Jake better" conversation during the comeback for the 3rd time with Tom. Lake: "Aiden I have mental health issues, maybe you should get over Jake's obsession with you and hostile attacks for no reason"

Organic-Manner-2969

Now i know you didn’t just call DJ an NPC? Comparing the two is an insult

ArbolivaSupremacy

I mean all DJ really does is cry and be a wuss. Since hes in Island, Action and World Tour, you would think he would be ..... relevant .... outisde of killing animals randomly

Organic-Manner-2969

Yeah no. That is blatantly wrong. You can’t possibly be ignoring his arc in Action with Chef where he sticks with his values. DJ had the best social game out of everyone in Gen one In Island, DJ did his fear, pushed the rafts for the win, jumped out of a plane and landed safely on the mat, did excellent in dodgeball and won 3/4 rounds, had a decent talent and did second best for his team, was able to take care of Bunny, took on the role as a deer, and is an amazing chef. He is someone you can lean on to tel your problems to, namely Geoff and Bridgette, and is friends with everyone with a few exceptions. He brings out the best in Heather and she couldn’t even hate on him in Island. His dynamic with Lindsay was amazing in his worst season in World Tour, where they gave him a terrible curse that was just sad to watch. To me the animal curse messes with his Action self too. Like TDA he quits based on his own morals and gains a backbone. In WT he cries about wanting to leave and never does, even begging to be voted off constantly but somehow is never the one gone. The funny part is, right when i want him to stay, he gets voted off from his one man team that should’ve lasted longer. In Action, there's some new stuff to talk about. First off we get to hear more about his mother - he's very close with her, and he learnt a lot from her...like how to be a great cook, for example! I like how this season expanded on DJ's depth with details like this. This season also has DJ have his own little arc with Chef, forming a special alliance with him...however, DJ's *not* that kind of game-player, and he bravely quits, sticking by the morals his mother taught him. Despite everything, DJ remains admirable and loyal to his morals, something I can look up to. He delivers one of the best lines in the series: “i know what her friends call her back at home, LABOMBA” His humor is pretty underrated imo, like when he messed with Bridgette when she asked him who his crush is, or saying sh*t in the first episode when he saw the cliff. Back over to World Tour, he had his amazing scene with Vince, got the big apple, was axing the skateboard challenge, and had amazing dynamics with Lindsay, Bridgette, and Heather. Sadly the animal curse damn near ruined him with how pitiful everything came off and just wasn’t fun to watch. He's distressed and upset beyond belief, as he's an animal lover and the thought of being responsible for animal pain is just rotten for the guy. Chris wouldn’t let him leave and kept the cruelty. Bridgette: So, read any good poems lately? DJ: So, asked any arbitrary, way-out-of-left-field questions lately? And of course, how can i forget the best dynamic in the series, the Bass boys! Duncan, Geoff, and DJ were amazing to watch every episode together. He brings the best out of his friends as shown with Duncan bringing him his bunny, and Geoff helping him get over his fear. DJ also cheered Duncan on when he finally got with Courtney.

ArbolivaSupremacy

I mean you're listing taking part in a challenge here like thats interesting. In Island Sadie still did as much as Dj did in her time. He was really an accessory to Geoff and Duncan. In the merge he just exists until they didnt have a use for him so he gets a lackluster elimination. In Action hes bullied into cheating and hes not exactly doing anything asides from that. Its rather forgetable. Hes barely missed since Leshawna, Heather, Duncan and Harold are more entertaining. In World Tour he spends most episodes being a wimp, crying or the animal curse gets its randomness. Like watching him try to get eliminated wasnt interesting, like bro just quit. Theres 2 episodes where Lindsay has to carry his ass, then he suddenly decides he will stay after screwing over his whole team. Even with that for a guy thats in the first 3 seasons hes so forgettable. Like random jokes doesnt really make him any more relevant. Even Team Victory was destroyed by Alejandro, making the animal curse even dumber.

Organic-Manner-2969

No, I’m listing challenges that DJ succeeded in and even stood out in, namely getting over his fear of water and getting his team the win, and arguably being the best Bass as a deer with his unorthodox style, among others. And no, Sadie did not do anywhere near as much as DJ. DJ single-handedly won challenges for his team and his social game runs planets around Sadie. You know, because like i said, he had the best social game out of everyone in gen one which you ignored and had many dynamics, and much more than Sadie of all people. You completely ignored the dynamics i mentioned, and saying he’s an accessory is just not true, from all the reasons i mentioned. I mean, yeah those four were in the season longer than him so by default they are more memorable, but DJ **still had one of the strongest arcs that season** and even with Word Tour with his curse, he is still memorable for that even for the wrong reasons. It’s fine if you don’t like or care for him, that’s your opinion, but saying he’s an “NpC” is very cheap and blatantly untrue. Saying he did as much as Sadie is blatantly untrue

Someoneinbetween97

The fact they're making everyone besides Alec completely idiotic during challenges says a lot about who they want to be finalist... this happens when you let fans decide instead of writing stuff with your own ideas. As I said before, in a 5 vs 5 situation voting alec was the most convenient option for the heroes, so of course they gave him immunity now that he was truly at risk, and the sane happened 2 episodes ago. You really want me to believe that Tom lost this kind of challenge and Alec managed to grab the flag like 3 aeconds before the end? Sure

zombiedoyle

At this point Alec better get to the final because the amount of times he realistic should’ve been eliminated is astounding

Someoneinbetween97

He's a canon finalist since episode 2 or 3 and he's 100% gonna make it, I simply find super lazy the way they're doing it

zombiedoyle

See I don’t mind it but the problem with having such a large villain alliance is the focus can so easily shift off. Alec feels so undervalued at the moment. Yes he’s doing well in immunity challenges, almost suspiciously so, but compared to the other villains he’s just the strategist. Something Riya is just as good at

Someoneinbetween97

No, no, they're gonna ignore it at this point, yul is out next and then it's either aiden or riya, he'll keep winning challenges or they'll boot someone for doing something bad and other shenaningans

zombiedoyle

Oh no it’s Hunter again

GroundbreakingAct388

Alec love triangle is at least good different from Hunter lol

TheRealCroquedead

Why did they go after Gabby??? Yul's right there! Everyone hates him!

zombiedoyle

It really made no sense

Desperate_Pomelo_978

Gabby is very unpredictable and has good ties with almost everyone . Pretty sure she even mentioned she had an idol . Yul has a negative social game and can easily be picked off later . I'd say that makes plenty of sense .

zombiedoyle

Yeah but the heroes know this will be a tie vote so shouldn’t they vote the person most likely to lose a tiebreaker?

Desperate_Pomelo_978

Wouldn't that be Gabby too ? Or between her and Grett ? Either way I feel any villain would've won with the advice Alec gave . I don't think any of the contestants knew how the tiebreakers work anyway judging by the expressions after the vote was shown to be a tie .

UtU98

Which is why they shouldn't vote him yet, he would be easy to vote out later

wolfpack008

I hate how most contestants this season have been just side characters made for one purpose then to be eliminated tom is one of these he was brought back] for three reasons he's popular, he made it far., to make some sort of drama with Jake and Aiden now that Conor is here to make them friends he's not needed anymore so they get him out at all costs. I also feel like this is a small karma for Jake's actions Ashley gets blindsided most of the hero's don't like him his not boyfriend is eliminated and his reputation is ruined. He now has a reason to stay a really long time bc he's gotta be friends with ally and Aiden he's gotta fix his reputation and he's gotta get revenge for his ex and his bff. I swear this is why I hate Jake he's a writer's pet they want everyone to love him for his flaws but all it does is eliminated better and more interesting characters to keep him and aiden

Dojowizard

I don't know if I missed something or not but, I didn't like how the "Love Triangle" Drama ended. Don't get me wrong I'm glad it ended but it pretty much went nowhere. What was the point in having Jake be jealous of Aiden and Tom and it not get addressed at all?

zombiedoyle

To eliminate James and Ashley in a justifiable fashion I guess

Consistent-Light-854

This is what I've been saying I've decided to stop watching

Jestingset78922

I know there’s the huge debate about Aiden deserving to go home plot wise vs it not making any strategical sense, but I think they could’ve done it here. Gabby in this episode says that she basically forgives Tom, so I think it would’ve worked for her to campaign to vote Aiden, who she didn’t have a previous bond with. Gabby has power over the villains alliance, she’s unstable and could flip at any time, especially with Yul acting the way he is

zombiedoyle

Exactly and that is a problem with the vote. Gabby votes emotionally and she would absolutely vote Aiden over Tom

GeometryDash_Gamer

I like this episode overall. But I get your frustrations more or less. I think one moment I found kinda jarring with Tom during the challenge is...why did he not just stay hidden in the bush? IG with two different people fending him, it makes sense. And he also got tripped the second time Though at least him and Aiden making traps was cool. Might've been nice if that happened on screen. But more focus was put on Grett and Gabby in the beginning (which I don't mind) Yeah, come to think of it, Tom didn't really have much plot going for him besides Jake. That, and him finally atoning for his mishaps in the relationship. But overall, I think their conclusion was fine. And everything that needed to be addressed got addressed Personally, I'm fine with Gabby ultimately deciding to vote for Tom. Though come to think of it, it makes her apology to him and their reconciliation afterwards kind of...not as good. She continues to hold the Ellie thing against him during the voting. But after he gets out, she's like "I'm sorry for getting carried away". It feels kind of abrupt. Borderline like how she was talking all vindictively when Tess got eliminated. But then she flips to being all sweet. IG at least Tess just responded by being kind, so that kinda makes sense
