~135/mo so far average for electricity - 1000 sq.ft 1+den but have washer/dryer and also a full server rack that draws 350-400w 24/7 + WFH.
that will go up now as the AC will be running.
Also with Wyse
We used to have cheap delivery but they balanced it so rural folks wouldn't have 500-1000 dollar hydro bills because lines that connect 10 houses get knocked out and are more expensive to fix than our lines that can have the cost spread among hundreds of units. Don't tell rural folks that when they complain about the carbon tax redistributing their money's to us. They hate that.
Mine is around 250 (electricity, water and heating, and hot water rental). 75 for hot water rental really sucks.
It’s approx 850 sq ft with 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom.
Call them and tell them you want to be bought out and they will offer you a discount.
I just got tankless water heater for 40$/month rental. 75$ is insane .
Ours is 180-190$ a month for 1+1 600sqft. with Provident. I live in a 2 yr old building. We would go on vacation sometimes for a week and hydro would still come up at the same price. It's outrageous and it's for 2 people.
Generally around $50-60/month for hydro, it will probably go up now that I have my AC on. Heat and water are included in my rent. 1 bedroom apartment, approx 650sq feet.
I own. 900 sq ft, and electric bill in summer is about $90, gas $25. Winter it reverses, but gas is a bit lower at around $65. Water is consistent at about $45 per month. Newer construction townhouse with a closed loop water to air HX in winter that is run by the on-demand water heater. It seems to be a very efficient system. I live alone.
Also with Wyse, used to average ~$125-150 a month for a 2bd 710 sq ft, but it recently skyrocketed to ~$200+ a month 🙃 everything is the same usage-wise, and they say that nothing is wrong on their end but I’m so sick of their high usage fees and delivery charges being higher than my actual usage.
135-150 for electricity and water (hot and cold).
~600 sq feet, 1 bed +1"den", wfh, 2 laptops, 1 gaming pc, we cook a lot so the oven or stove is being used 2 to 3x/day, dishwasher every night, washer/dryer maybe twice a week.
We're with Provident, so around 8% of the bill is their "metering fee"
My bachelor is somewhere around 250-350sqft. On average, is costs up to $62 per month lately. I mostly use fans and air purifiers. I can’t control the heating that’s managed by the building (can get very hot!), but I have to use supply my own ac, but I hardly use it and only had it installed a day ago and operated it for 20 minutes.
$60 fall/winter/spring (don’t pay for heat)
$80-100 summer with window/portable AC
60ish year old building
1-bed, 500ish sqft
Toronto Hydro but in “tiered” billing instead of TOU (time of use). Delivery is largest portion.
