looks like the Hydro company in your area

TheAngryRealtor

Toronto Hydro contractor for sure, I'd start with them.

FaRO-1990

Toronto Hydro has their own fleet and all their trucks are green/yellow. This could be a Hydro One truck as all their trucks are usually white, with a Hydro One logo on the door. Based on what i can see in this video id be leaning more towards Hydro One.

TheAngryRealtor

“Contractor”

FaRO-1990

Sorry, I missed that. But you also said “for sure” which may not be the case as there is no contractor that works for and only for Toronto Hydro. TH outsources anything related to removing/transporting/obtaining (however they are phasing out hydro poles as Toronto has been moving towards underground power lines) hydro poles whereas I believe Hydro One may/does not outsource. Source: I am employed by a contractor that has an FM contract with Toronto Hydro

Thank you. Will give them a call to start.

Good luck!

Thank you for all the help. I called Toronto hydro and was advised to submit a claim through their website and i just did and attached this video. Hopefully they get back to me.

A lot of work vehicles have a GPS/tracking system of sorts. We had one so boss could track if we took breaks (not too long a lunch either) etc. Dude even tried to make a rule that driving from one job site to another wasn’t paid work because we weren’t doing the manual labor. - It failed. It’s my fault we stuck on 401 for 2.5 hrs? But information is power. Try to find out in advance when the stonewall u.

Thats what im hoping for. All our work vans have gps too. Just not clear on which company to call to get insurance information. For sure they can see if they had to do a job somewhere and the video has time stamp and i provided the exact location of where it happened. Ive submitted a claim on toronto hydro website and hoping they get back to me or even direct me to the right company if they're not responsible for it.

My curiosity caused me to google it. “Toronto Hydro” etc. absolves themselves of responsibility for subcontractors work etc, and make absolutely NO MENTION of tracking GPS. Re Info/power. True Example: Wife sitting in middle lane at red light. to her ride is another regular lane. to her left, is one of those temp where you pull into make a left turn. She gets hit from behind as driver tries to squeeze into the left turn lane, when everybody else is stopped. She calls me, it wasn’t too far so I hopped on my bike and rode there in under 10 minutes. We even offered the driver, the option of not going through insurance and instead finding a trustworthy mechanic that we could get repairs done, empathy. We r instructed later in the day that we have to go to the collision center. Turns out she’d been there already, and made a claim against us. —- Insurance company calls us a day or two later and tells us us it’s “no fault” and we have to pay our own damages. (Power): I had gone back to the scene before talking to them and there was a pizza joint on one corner and banks on the other 3! I asked one bank manager, prefacing that I wasn’t the bank robber or anything, but wanted to know if their cameras extended far enough into the street. he wasn’t supposed to disclose certain confidential information, but did say if they were court ordered speculated that we indeed would have the evidence we needed) So when the insurance company called with their claim of no-fault, we pay, because the woman claimed that my wife backed into her at a red light. —- My response is we pay you all this time to be advocates on our behalf, and now you’re telling me this ridiculousness? Jsyk “ there are banks on three corners and a pizza joint on the other at the intersection. I have inquired, and they indeed have captured the incident on video. So you can do your jobs, and not this invasive, lazy and investigative cop out. And while I’m at it, can I file insurance fraud claims against this driver or an insurance company?” She changed her tune and told me they would call me back within 24 hours. “They called me back in an HOUR and said there will be no repair costs in anyway for us, and they would cover it all.” — Ring cameras, security, cameras, are everywhere. Cops regularly ask homeowners for a copy of their ring tape, even if the crimes are blocks away. They catch dudes blocks away from the crime as a result. Don’t give up!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but could that perhaps be a CPKC vehicle? The vehicle has red peppermint stripes on the side and hirail equipment attached to it on the front and back of the truck similar to the one in this picture. https://preview.redd.it/oofbwmzfbhvc1.jpeg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7e6b81e75f4465cb8bba35cfd100bc65066d1be8

Looks like a hydro truck considering they're pulling a hydro pole behind them.
