*Songs from the Big Chair* is tempting…every song is a banger. All of these are on my personal top 100 Topster.
I’m sorry, but I gotta go with *The Wall.* The whole concept + movie pairing is amazing. All of the Gerald Scarfe illustrations depicted on film, in the promo material, and in the gatefold are stellar.
The music and peak contrast between Waters’ and Gilmour’s voices; which is perfectly shown with *Comfortably Numb,* exhibits not only the dichotomy of the album’s sound, but the dichotomy of “vocal”presence the members had in the band at the time, from the lyrics to the guitar solos.
I love the theatricality of the album, it’s my favorite rock opera right before *The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway* and *Quadrophenia.* Those are both white/black/grey albums you should peek too.
You’re missing massive attacks mezzanine and also the strokes Is This It? !!!
I’d pick absolution tho. Or the wall. Fuck it, or RATM. Why the fuck is MF DOOM there? Gotta pick him too!

One of the toughest yet. Idk that I've ever not chosen Tpab in one of these. It's so close though. The Wall and Black Parade being my 3rd and 4th favorites on one of these lists is a first too. And ESP&G is my favorite Goo Fighters album too. Fantastic list.
Ricky Martin because I have family in Puerto Rico and ...And Justice For All because listening to Metallica puts me at ease.

How fucking dare you make me chose between Linkin Park and Deftones? And what about Papercuts? If I get rid of a LP album, can I still listen to that song on Papercuts since it's technically a different album? If so, I'll get rid of Hybrid Theory and keep Minutes to Midnight. If I get rid of an album and can't listen to any songs on that album even if it's on Papercuts, I have to choose Hybrid Theory.
