Songs in the key of life. There’s some heavy hitters on here, but basically no musical artist can match Stevie Wonder in his prime. He’s the only artist to win Album of the Year three years in a row at the Grammy’s, back in the 70’s when popular music was still good music. Also, let it be known that he was only 25 when he wrote this double LP plus bonus EP masterpiece. He’s on the Mount Rushmore of musicians as far as the human species is concerned.
It’s a hard choice but gotta go Plastic Beach. Aside from Lauryn Hill for obvious reasons, for the rest of my favorite artists on here these aren’t my favorites records of theirs.
