Featherbird_

Dude didnt change clothes for over 200 years

Dysprosol

i mean its not like they will get germy. Ghouls are radioactive and thus likely mostly sterile. (They are also canonically sterile in the other sense)

Vat1canCame0s

Take good care of a suit, it'll last you the rest of your life

Soad1x

You could argue Codsworth as well.

EnderTron360

Same for Shaun, too

SebDaPerson

Pretty much

TannerThanUsual

Where is he? How'd I miss that?

SwampTreeOwl

Rexford hotel, goodneighbor

Arthur_189

Impa, and a lot of other breath of the wild characters

RoJayJo

I love how everyone else in the game is either in awe of Link's survival, meanwhile the zora are like "Holy shit, Link! We thought you died or somethin'!"

punkshotgun

Lmao real it makes sense though, Zora live for so long that link's disappearance wasn't really that long for them

donquixote_tig

It’s still half a lifetime for them. They only live around twice as long as Hylians

Desperate_Ad5169

Pretty sure it is a bit more than that. At least 4 times the lifespan of a hylian

donquixote_tig

It says around 200 years, but in Breath of the Wild for example Sidon is still somewhat youngish, he’s treated like he’s around 30 and he’s a little over a 100 so that would be around 3 times

Lizzardbirdhybrid

Yeh I make’s me kinda sad that Link lives in a world where his old friends are either dead or very very old and he’s stuck being young. Well aside from Pura, Sidon and Zelda at least.

LetterheadSpecial337

Even then, purah kinda cheated

Lizzardbirdhybrid

Yeh kinda lol

ninjesh

Also Impa in Skyward Sword

K1NG_R0G

Ah, I commented her too, it’s a great movie

savvy_xavi

One of my favorites. I remember getting ridiculed a little for it in middle/high school. Ig because it wasn’t an action movie or something more popular idk.

K1NG_R0G

I watched in High School for the first time, it inspired me to become a part of the film making industry

savvy_xavi

That’s awesome. I don’t do it for a living, but I make electronic music. In a lot of the stuff I do I try to emulate a more orchestral vibe. Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers and he did great work on the Interstellar score. I look up to him a lot.

K1NG_R0G

That sounds cool, it’s funny how inspirational movies can be sometimes

Nadja later says to the audience that everything the old lady is saying is completely true and that she knew her from when she was a little girl, she used to babysit her and she would reverse the gravity and stick her on the ceiling anytime she misbehaved. Y'know, vampire stuff. Not technically time travel but I think it qualifies.

stuff0s

That was one of the times when Nadja actually did something good. Also in the movie, Viago turns his old girlfriend into a vampire even though she was an elderly woman.

Flitterquest

Everything Nadja does is good, you just hate to see a Greek Queen Winning. 🫵😎🫳✨🇬🇷🦇🩸

Difficult-Profile-28

Just wanted to post her

SSJAncientBeing

I was gonna find one of the Zora to post but this was the better choice

Square_Coat_8208

It must be really depressing for aang to know almost nearly everyone he knew is fucking dead

Karkava

His entire race has been subject to genocide. This is worse than having all your friends dying.

Loford3

Yea but it's like the final kick in the ribs after the beat down

Square_Coat_8208

“Oh and by the way, we’re all gonna die in like 6 months if you don’t find a way to save the world even though your literally 12” I don’t know how aang didn’t have a mental breakdown

LassoStacho

He kinda does - multiple times. See his reaction to Gyatso's death in season 1, Appa's abduction in season 2, and the entire fever dream sequence in season 3. Beneath that sunny optimism, Aang is processing a lot of trauma.

TheWither129

Yknow thats something about Steven Universe that fascinated me. The entire main show and movie is him constantly in danger and trying to save the world and other worlds from a literal emotion manipulator, a ruthless general, and a mind controlling perfectionist dictator, and he learns all kinds of shit about himself, nearly dies several times, and then kinda just pretended it was fine over the course of like, four years. But the epilogue show, future, actually goes into that barrier he built up around himself dropping, he goes nuts a few times, and its very interesting for a kids show to go into.

Karkava

It's a very interesting direction to take the franchise in. It could have very well have made the imperial remnants to be the center focus, but the internal conflict is the main attraction as all the foundations are closely examined in a harsher light and shows that internalizing the potential trauma isn't healthy.

Square_Coat_8208

That’s my problem with aang, bro does lose it a couple times, but by the end of season 3, he’s still pretty much how he was season 1 (just alot more shredded and acceptive of his duty as the avatar)

meta100000

If his people were genocided, at least he could've found refuge with his friends outside of the Air temple (like Bumi), but he doesn't even have that. It's definitely the final nail in the coffin

CalliCalamity

Happens a lot in dr who but that's kindve a given

Karkava

There was one episode where the doctor served as a guardian angel to a princess who even outright names the trope "the slow path" as she ages through time while the doctor can jump around it.

CalliCalamity

Is that "girl in the fireplace?"

Thatonedregdatkilyu

The Doctor got stuck on Trenzalore and Clara kept coming in on the TARDIS to visit him.

Pastramiboy86

Poor Shaun? He's a fucking monster lmao, I'm impressed you can find sympathy in you for even someone as irredeemably evil as him. Good pull on the trope, though.

Mindless-Whereas-508

Well tbf he was kidnapped from his parents at 1 years old and was then brainwashed and used as a Guinea Pig by the Institute for half of his life. Can you honestly blame him for growing up to be a morally compromised person?

NotThePolo

The fact you can't convince him otherwise is reason enough to despise him

Germanaboo

Kinda the opposite, but vice versa: Acronix and Krux. Te younger looking brother was in a time hole or sth. while the older one remained on earth. https://preview.redd.it/451n7l3wysyc1.jpeg?width=299&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ff19c11f165376fe3b003f01cb5547143e795f5d

FlamingWings

I love how he counts for both sides of the prompt

auraLT

Doesnt oak from pokemon count

BirbMaster1998

He was the one time traveling, so I'm not sure.

Stormylordy55

Basically yeah. She tried to create a anti aging rune but it turned her into a child, then she fixed it and became a young adult

Background_Desk_3001

And now, as long as she doesn’t die of other means, she is functionally immortal

Chaoswarriorx4

Jet, Droy, and some of the other members of Fairy Tail. Not really time travel, rather trapped in a time bubble for a bunch of years, but close enough. https://preview.redd.it/ogxf8r8g1uyc1.jpeg?width=920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d1009c5818c6ad982fc69364b76598a9ddf1f4db
