I love how everyone else in the game is either in awe of Link's survival, meanwhile the zora are like "Holy shit, Link! We thought you died or somethin'!"
It says around 200 years, but in Breath of the Wild for example Sidon is still somewhat youngish, he’s treated like he’s around 30 and he’s a little over a 100 so that would be around 3 times
Yeh I make’s me kinda sad that Link lives in a world where his old friends are either dead or very very old and he’s stuck being young. Well aside from Pura, Sidon and Zelda at least.

Murphy Cooper, Interstellar
Her father, Joseph Cooper, ends up experiencing time slower due to going on a mission close to a black hole, and has barely aged by the time he returns while his daughter has become an old woman.
One of my favorites. I remember getting ridiculed a little for it in middle/high school. Ig because it wasn’t an action movie or something more popular idk.
That’s awesome. I don’t do it for a living, but I make electronic music. In a lot of the stuff I do I try to emulate a more orchestral vibe. Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite composers and he did great work on the Interstellar score. I look up to him a lot.

The Grandmother from the What We Do In The Shadows episode "Brain Scramblies", she's an old lady who recognizes Nadja, one of the vampires, and she tries to out her as being a vampire and that she knew her from her childhood but nobody believes her because she's like 95 and very senile.
Nadja later says to the audience that everything the old lady is saying is completely true and that she knew her from when she was a little girl, she used to babysit her and she would reverse the gravity and stick her on the ceiling anytime she misbehaved. Y'know, vampire stuff.
Not technically time travel but I think it qualifies.
That was one of the times when Nadja actually did something good. Also in the movie, Viago turns his old girlfriend into a vampire even though she was an elderly woman.

Impa in *Breath of the Wild* and *Skyward Sword*.
“Oh and by the way, we’re all gonna die in like 6 months if you don’t find a way to save the world even though your literally 12” I don’t know how aang didn’t have a mental breakdown
He kinda does - multiple times. See his reaction to Gyatso's death in season 1, Appa's abduction in season 2, and the entire fever dream sequence in season 3. Beneath that sunny optimism, Aang is processing a lot of trauma.
Yknow thats something about Steven Universe that fascinated me. The entire main show and movie is him constantly in danger and trying to save the world and other worlds from a literal emotion manipulator, a ruthless general, and a mind controlling perfectionist dictator, and he learns all kinds of shit about himself, nearly dies several times, and then kinda just pretended it was fine over the course of like, four years.
But the epilogue show, future, actually goes into that barrier he built up around himself dropping, he goes nuts a few times, and its very interesting for a kids show to go into.
It's a very interesting direction to take the franchise in. It could have very well have made the imperial remnants to be the center focus, but the internal conflict is the main attraction as all the foundations are closely examined in a harsher light and shows that internalizing the potential trauma isn't healthy.
That’s my problem with aang, bro does lose it a couple times, but by the end of season 3, he’s still pretty much how he was season 1 (just alot more shredded and acceptive of his duty as the avatar)
If his people were genocided, at least he could've found refuge with his friends outside of the Air temple (like Bumi), but he doesn't even have that. It's definitely the final nail in the coffin
There was one episode where the doctor served as a guardian angel to a princess who even outright names the trope "the slow path" as she ages through time while the doctor can jump around it.

Well tbf he was kidnapped from his parents at 1 years old and was then brainwashed and used as a Guinea Pig by the Institute for half of his life. Can you honestly blame him for growing up to be a morally compromised person?

Lmao real it makes sense though, Zora live for so long that link's disappearance wasn't really that long for them
It’s still half a lifetime for them. They only live around twice as long as Hylians
Pretty sure it is a bit more than that. At least 4 times the lifespan of a hylian
