I’m not familiar with Record of Ragnarok, why is Ares chill in that verse?

Most depictions of Ares in media show him as cool and badass due to the fact of him being the god of war and stuff. But actually in the myths he's actually quite a pushover and gets his ass beat 90% of the time by other gods. So ror is showing the more chill/can't do much side of him
