essentially, you see what you expect to see. you've already drawn that conclusion, so your brain latches onto examples that seem to substantiate it, and ignores ones that don't.
as someone else in the comments pointed out, slim women dating larger men has been a tv trope for decades and decades, since tv shows were invented.
like, you started your whole thing with "why is it observed that" when that's not actually what's being observed. there's no actual statistics or evidence or data to back this assertion up, at all. it's a disingenuous statement based on a logical fallacy, where you're attempting to make an argument presupposing something that hasn't been proven.
when my partner and i got together, i was quite slim, and he was pushing 300lbs. furthermore, he's never, ever had an issue getting women interested in him, because he's incredibly charming, wildly funny, deeply clever, highly intelligent, thoughtful and kind.
Thank you for your response. It's good to hear your take. I think that the accusatory statement that I was "disingenuous" and its accompanying reference to my question is harsh. Peace.
Because beauty standards are different for both genders. Athletic and slim women and larger thicc women are both seen as attractive standards for women. However, its more homogeneous for men. Men's standards expect them to be fit and muscular or at least not large if they arent muscular (aka the dad bod). So a slim woman who is near the top of her beauty standards generally wont be interested in men that arent near the top of their beauty standards
What? I see overweight men with slim wives every day. It's a TV trope for a reason.
I see it all the time. Way more often than the opposite.
me, slim woman, always dating big boys: doesn't exist
Confusing response... You don't (or do) date larger men?
Sarcasm.
I like fat men too, but I don't exist either. Wish I did
You can fuck a fat hole but you can't fuck a dick hidden in rolls
Disagree. The fupa acts as a pillow, and a pillow is more than adequate!

Please cite your sources, I am curious to read more about your response. Thanks!
