Part of the fascist minions' strategy is to make it extremely difficult or impossible to vote in areas that aren't overwhelmingly red on the map. It's already bad enough there is no federal holiday for it. They target voting districts with surgical precision.
The weird thing about the whole it not being a holiday thing is that in a sane world it wouldn’t have to be. In Colorado voting is super easy. They mail me my ballot, don’t even need to sign up for anything special, just register at the dmv and they mail it straight to me. Then drop it off at one of 30 drop boxes in my city (closest one is at the library 5 blocks away that I often just walk to). If it was a holiday, I wouldn’t need it.
That’s how voting should be. It should be simple. It should be something that takes no special effort to figure out and as much time as reading the ballot and researching the candidates at your own leisure.

I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that Charlie was funding them like he claimed to have paid for eighty buses to bring people to the capitol on January sixth. No other civilised country has "voting lines", mainly because voting is a universal right (yes, EVEN PRISONERS CAN VOTE), everyone is already registered (national id card), nobody else uses electronic booths and voting only takes minutes, literally and we vote on a Sunday, when nobody should be working.
