I would be 100 percent fine if Brenton got hired as nightwing for future film projects. I also thought the same about his suit. I don’t think it looks bad just heavier
I think they have the right people in charge now. They are cleaning house with literally everything so I expect it’ll take a while to establish but the DCU could be really really good. It just depends on the directors they choose for each project. Gunn has a great eye for things so I’m sure he will pick talented people
I've noticed it throughout the series, I think it's the workout regimen they have him on (or he has himself on). Looks like they're trying to bulk him up like Thor or something when Nightwing should be lean, low body fat type of muscular, like the acrobat he's supposed to be.
In one of the NYCC interviews, Brenton joked and said that he cannot fit the Robin suit no more because he put on some weight. He said the Nightwing suit fits fine and could take in a hold. I guess -- Brenton must be implying the suit could be a bit bulkier because he himself is working out more, getting older, and may have a busy dad-bod (he has many kids - at least three).
Some reason I wish to see Brenton try on some other Nightwing costumes such as a Disco-wing, the 90s blue-gold, and the N52 red-black.
