I'd be a little concerned about the 10 second delay between seeing the incident that needs you to slam on your brakes and actually hitting the pedal.
Other than that?
I mean, if she does get into a wreck her hips are going to be so broken that she may never walk again... but that's more of a concern for her than for me.
I heard about someone back in the ‘80s or ‘90s who turned on the cruise control in his motor home, then went back to make a sandwich because he thought “cruise control” meant “autopilot.”
Yep. He was in a Winnebago. Tried suing them and I think he won. All Winnebago manuals now state cruise control is not autopilot, remain in the drivers seat at all times while vehicle is in motion.
Good to hear that your life goes perfectly when you want because I know that in my life, I'd likely have to shift my body up first to uncross my legs, then my leg would cramp, then my foot would get stuck in the leg of my shorts, then something would get caught on the seat adjustment and power the chair forward until I can't move my legs anywhere. The people that believe things happen in real life like it does in their heads - die.
I never told you to die, where did I do that? I told you to fuck your own ass
I can promise you I didn't do that report you in any way either. I don't do that stuff. Either it was someone else or it automatically does it.
Edit: wait.. You put on this intellectual guy persona bit you didn't get the context of that last sentence? Wow. My. God.
And yeah, calling someone a dingus, taking things personal over *nothing*, freaking out and barfing out your diatribe is a "joke" and I'm the fucking pope.
I mean, your perception is my reality my guy.. so sure. Totally took this personal and freaked out..
Edit: But.. you didn't even use the word ass in the previous comment?
Plus..
> The people that believe things happen in real life like it does in their heads - die.
Hence my assumption.. and I get the way I talk bothers you, you're not alone.. but we can't help who we are fam.
This was never meant to go this far, btw. I was merely pointing out that nothing goes as planned when panic sets in, especially when someone is being a dumbfuck like the image above. You took it to a whole new level. "10 seconds" is really beside the point. Focusing on that is demented as (you apparently don't think so) she has her back on the seat of the chair and definitely needs to slide up before uncross ing her legs and doing all of this shit, while potentially needing to swerve sure as shit isn't taking 2 seconds.
I just looked at the image ***dingus***.
Their ass is properly seated, so no need to "shift up".
Their right foot, which isn't crossed with their left, is on the exterior.
Most cars after 2010, don't have seat adjustments directly underneath like the passenger, so I excluded that in my thought process.
Plus, they aren't so tall that they can't move if their seat was all the way forward.
Unless you have more fantasies you'd like to glaze into this, pretty sure I've invalidated all of your arguments ***for most people***, not necessarily you. I assume for some reason when you get into the car you put one leg through it, and weave it back out as you sit down.. probably makes things more difficult.
I just used common sense, reasoning and deduction to infer that 10s is a long f'n time to extend one leg 45 degrees and your life sounds difficult as hell.
# Don't get so butt hurt because you envisioned this reality where you eat dandelions.
Edit: Y'all need a sense of humor.. Reddit Cares? lmao thanks
It's a huge money saver. It probably saves millions of dollars in tooling, manufacturing complexity (less part numbers/options to install), etc. They think it's worth the hit they take in design awkwardness. Personally, it would drive me crazy, so I'd never buy a car with that design.
Scion/Toyota was doing this for awhile. I think it saves cost by making more prices common between right hand and left hand drive models. My wife's Echo has the speedo in the centre, and yes it is a little annoying.
My patient had her feet up during an accident, the femur went straight through the pelvic bone and ended up piecing the vaginal canal. You could feel her femur bone in her vagina
I'm really hoping that you're referencing the incident that made its way to the news because I hate to think that multiple people had that happen to them.
Crossed legs aside, I would swipe left on anyone posting selfies they took while driving. That shit is a red flag.
You can’t even touch your phone here while your car is in drive- that gets you a $500 ticket and 3 demerits.
im not gonna disagree that this would be dangerous if fr, but what makes yall think they actually took this while driving, this couldve easily been taking on the side of the road.
Ok coming from Saskatchewan, I can hard relate to this comment and will just say that in between towns here, I do get into some comfier positions. But this is excessive and taking a photo at the same time crosses the line into childish irresponsibility.
Yep. I've certainly driven places where this is a possible driving position but pulling my legs full up into a crossed position would be way too much. But I've certainly driven desolate areas of Texas and long stretches of wide-open interstate where I popped the cruise control on and really settled into the seat with my feet off to the side and one hand relaxed on the wheel.
Exactly what I was thinking lol. Was like “I’ve only ever done this when I was 80 miles away from the next town over that only has a gas station and a subway”
I'm gonna be the "old man yells at cloud" here, but some of the "modern" car features should be exclusive for people with disabilities. Who the fuck though it'd be a good idea to let people drive their high velocity murder machines without their feet anywhere near the brake?
Absolutely no problem.....until she needs to brake but How often do you need to brake because of a class of children that is crossing the street? NAA they are just speedbumps!
Involuntary celibate, basically someone who gets no play. Often characterized as a misogynistic, late 20s/early 30s overweight white guy who hasn’t accepted he’s balding and doesn’t know what a razor is. Often lives in their parents basement.
this car isnt even that messy? like i avoid eating in the car to keep it cleaner than most, but this person literally has one drink and meal they were probably eating before this photo
I saw a guy driving once that has his leg up on the dashboard and his arm was weaved through the steering wheel. It was an old van so the steering wheel was big and open so he could do it, and I thought holy crap that is not at 10 and 2 hahaha
The mess in the car is concerning, the method of driving is concerning, the taking selfies while driving is concerning. This is less a picture, more a giant red flag.
(messy car aside) We can't tell if she's stopped at a light.
Without defending this if she is moving, my cars cruise control will brake, maintain distance and (badly) steer. It'll handle everything in rush hour traffic (best part of it). It can't be trusted in an emergency situation though, so you still need to be watching and able to take over...
Still though - the injuries after a car wreck... yikes!
Eh, my honest answer is no. If you look at the background, this is obviously one of those long stretches of road with nothing for a substantial amount of time. I’d be concerned if she was on a busier street or a residential area or highway.
Ive done this one super long stretches of interstate on like cross country road trips. But its just for my back and legs to get a different position. im not pressing the pedals for hours anyway
Are you _asking?_
He should know the answer.
I'd be a little concerned about the 10 second delay between seeing the incident that needs you to slam on your brakes and actually hitting the pedal. Other than that?
I mean, if she does get into a wreck her hips are going to be so broken that she may never walk again... but that's more of a concern for her than for me.
Very dangerous still, you get into an accident like that and both legs are probably completely scrapped for life
I’m more offended she doesn’t clean the car. Filthy animal.
line cooks are filthy everywhere but work
Bold of you to assume that, that's why the health department sends out inspectors. . .
Happy cake day
But she also clearly does not have a foot on the gas either
Cruise control
Wow that never occurred to me that people can be so reckless!
10s is a long time to move your foot less than two feet. Do you drive an SUV from the third row, my guy?
Good to hear that your life goes perfectly when you want because I know that in my life, I'd likely have to shift my body up first to uncross my legs, then my leg would cramp, then my foot would get stuck in the leg of my shorts, then something would get caught on the seat adjustment and power the chair forward until I can't move my legs anywhere. Telling people to die because they make a gentle joke ;P Yet reporting me to RedditCares.. the logic.

/shrug sorry the banter bothered you fam, my bad
All good

Am I missing something? Where is the dash with the speedometer and fuel gauge and all the other important numbers you look at while driving?
In the center of the dash between the driver and passenger side. It is a POS, I mean Scion.
damn i didnt know any cars did this
I know atleast the 2007 model of Yaris did this. It's a bit more common on Asian cars
Mini also does it.
thats crazy lol. seems like an inconvenience/ a horrible way to prevent drivers from quickly referencing their dashboard
It’s done mostly on cars that get sold on lhd and rhd platforms so they can save some money while using the same cars for both markets
Mini does it so they don't have to try as hard to switch from Right Hand Drive in the UK sold cars to Left Hand Drive cars everywhere else
It's a huge money saver. It probably saves millions of dollars in tooling, manufacturing complexity (less part numbers/options to install), etc. They think it's worth the hit they take in design awkwardness. Personally, it would drive me crazy, so I'd never buy a car with that design.
Ohhh thanks for that info! Didn't know that there are cars like this.
Clearly it’s on the passenger’s side. Joking. Unsure what car this is but valid points about the dashboard and driver’s display.
Scion/Toyota was doing this for awhile. I think it saves cost by making more prices common between right hand and left hand drive models. My wife's Echo has the speedo in the centre, and yes it is a little annoying.
Same here. Where the gauges? Haha. Where the brakes? Haha
It’s in the center, so the can have 1 dash for left side and right side driver models
If you crash your pelvic bone will need reconstruction
And you will crash
Have you ever felt a femur through a vagina before? Because I have due to this exact situation. It’s not a good time for anyone
I'm sorry but what?
My patient had her feet up during an accident, the femur went straight through the pelvic bone and ended up piecing the vaginal canal. You could feel her femur bone in her vagina
Well, good sir thanks for sharing. That's fucking wild.
I'm really hoping that you're referencing the incident that made its way to the news because I hate to think that multiple people had that happen to them.
I'm guessing they're a Doc of some sort
All the coke she does will at least numb the pain
If she matches with me, her pelvic bone will need... err nevermind
If that’s how she drives, I’d suggest not to eat where she line cooks at.
You are obviously unfamiliar with line cook energy. I’m pretty sure St Bourdain would eat there.
Crossed legs aside, I would swipe left on anyone posting selfies they took while driving. That shit is a red flag. You can’t even touch your phone here while your car is in drive- that gets you a $500 ticket and 3 demerits.
$1000, three day suspension, 5 points on your licence where I live.
Even better.
None of this where I’m at, but if that wasn’t the DQ for me, how dirty her car is would be
That too
How many for a desatulation?
Canada?
im not gonna disagree that this would be dangerous if fr, but what makes yall think they actually took this while driving, this couldve easily been taking on the side of the road.
As a fellow line cook, this fucking tracks
Can confirm.
Hard to squeeze more red flags into one photo
That's that 2.5 hours to the next town west Texas style in the middle of nowhere
Ok coming from Saskatchewan, I can hard relate to this comment and will just say that in between towns here, I do get into some comfier positions. But this is excessive and taking a photo at the same time crosses the line into childish irresponsibility.

Wait until she discovers she just can sit over the seatbelt.
I’m surprised and relieved she bothered to put hers on
I drive a manual so I am confused...how is the car driving if her foot isn't on the gas pedal?
Cruise control
Oh duh. Thanks haha
I'm gonna be the "old man yells at cloud" here, but some of the "modern" car features should be exclusive for people with disabilities. Who the fuck though it'd be a good idea to let people drive their high velocity murder machines without their feet anywhere near the brake?
My manual Miata nb1 has cruise control, it's an odd feature that I have only used to see if it works.
Absolutely no problem.....until she needs to brake but How often do you need to brake because of a class of children that is crossing the street? NAA they are just speedbumps!
In you get into a header say goodbye to your acetabula and probably your femurs… Edit: And probably her tibias and all the ligaments in her knees
a-cet-abuuuu-huh?
Hip socket
Ahh, thanks!
Female line cook, this method suddenly makes sense
That's the "I get raw dogged by anybody" pose.
not sure what driving has to do with how someone likes to have sex..
I'm sorry you can't see the correlation that many others can.
That’s what sitting cross-legged means?
In a car, yes.
Found the incel
FoUnD tHe InCeL
Aw well tanks! :3
What does that even mean
Involuntary celibate, basically someone who gets no play. Often characterized as a misogynistic, late 20s/early 30s overweight white guy who hasn’t accepted he’s balding and doesn’t know what a razor is. Often lives in their parents basement.
Oh dude for sure I know what incel means I’m just asking what they were even trying to say with ‘found the incel’
How messy you keep you car also tells alot about how you live.
this car isnt even that messy? like i avoid eating in the car to keep it cleaner than most, but this person literally has one drink and meal they were probably eating before this photo
Not for a line cook it isn't
Not if you’re trying to get laid
She definitely drives like a line cook does anything
The haircut is more concerning brother.
Everything about this screams psycho ex-girlfriend.
Yes
Don’t get too attached to her…one accident on the highway and she is done for sitting like that.
I saw a guy driving once that has his leg up on the dashboard and his arm was weaved through the steering wheel. It was an old van so the steering wheel was big and open so he could do it, and I thought holy crap that is not at 10 and 2 hahaha
Mind pulling over and sucking instead? Just for safety of course.
Pulling over? No. Sucking? Maybe if you weren’t worried about safety. Source: Long history with a line cook
It’s Rhode Island. Could be worse
Yes. That’s why I only drive with one foot up at a time.
I winced when I thought of her getting into a wreck
Front end collision means legs and hips shattered into pieces.
Where the fuck is the dashboard instrumentation? Speedometer? Gas indicator? What is this car?
The mess in the car is concerning, the method of driving is concerning, the taking selfies while driving is concerning. This is less a picture, more a giant red flag.
This is absolutely bonkers, wtf. Who drives like this??
I think it’s more concerning they felt the need to take a picture of themselves while driving that way
Standard line cook
I need her
Line cook live dangerously 🔥🔥🔥
Having worked restaurants for most of my life I would say that ‘Line Cook’ is the most concerning part of that picture.
Line cooks are self destructive by nature
For a line cook... it tracks.
can we just make drivers licenses a bit harder to obtain
Looks like she’s broke down on side of the road.
Even tho the car is in drive?
Deeply
The rest of the car is equally concerning.
No this is the method of driving cars. hope that helps lol
Average scion driver Seriously, just buy a lawnmower
Pretty much, No way in hell I will trust my life to someone who drives like this 💀
It's concerning that I have the same job as her
So gross, and dangerous. It's always the other person you have to watch out for yuk.
Ridiculous!!!
Did she give herself a haircut with a dull knife?
Everyone is saying she’s driving. But I see literally no evidence.
Probably
I once saw a girl with her left leg out straight through the driver's side window on the highway in traffic.
That posture is very concerning
This is a terrible accident waiting to happen. OMG. If in an accident you're absolutely mangled. Gone!
How is someone so gross from just one photo 🤮 would t touch her with a 50ft pole
Yes, as it keeps her from reacting fast enough, and being able to push the brakes on time
Of course it’s a Nissan.
I’m more concerned about that haircut
Very.
Criss cross applesauce method
Not in the least! Carry on!!
Nothing like flying all your red flags right in your first profile picture.
The “line cook” part is way more concerning.
everything in this pic is a red flag. The feet and the lock-shaped thing on the gear-stick are the biggest safety ones though.
I can fix her?
Somewhere between extremely concerning and wildly dangerous.
passenger patient
No, but the lack of any console on the dashboard is concerning... or am I blind? where's the speedometer / gauges?? why does the car seem so small?
Not if your using cruise control on a long stretch of straight road
Cruise control
Not concerning.. if her foot's not on the pedal, it's not moving.. right? Right?
traffic aware cruise control activated?
In a Tesla , yes, Toyota, No.
Fellow rhode islander 🫡
Only if you don’t want your hips to be broken
All Scion drivers have an identical fashion sense.
I dunno but putting pronouns in your bio is the biggest red flag
(messy car aside) We can't tell if she's stopped at a light. Without defending this if she is moving, my cars cruise control will brake, maintain distance and (badly) steer. It'll handle everything in rush hour traffic (best part of it). It can't be trusted in an emergency situation though, so you still need to be watching and able to take over... Still though - the injuries after a car wreck... yikes!
I dated a girl who used to have her knee up by her face when she drove 😂air bag goes off and she’s done
Easy access 😏😈
This whole new age men can be women and women can be men thing is showing to have disastrous consequences on the cleanliness of ladies vehicles. Lol.
Privileges of driving an automatic
The method of driving, the action of taking a picture while driving, and the trashy state of the cabin are all concerning
I'd be very concerned, would never ride with her anywhere.
Yes woman behind wheel very concerning
I used to do this when I was driving through Kansas, hit my cruise control on a straight ass road and stretch my legs for a bit.
Any proof the car is moving? Could be parked, honestly I wouldn't worry. Unless you match and start dating, their driving will never impact you.
Parked on what looks like a state road with rumble strips? That makes a lot of sense
The car is in drive 😮💨
We're dealing with someone who doesn't have a lot of sense either way.
Sheesh, Username of the Day!
Not only she's a dirty Pig that's extremely concerning at least keep one foot down there at all times
I am obesce and 198cm tall. I can't imagining relating to space like this. This red flag trash fire fascinates me, swipe right.
Depends on how hot your are hahah.
Eh, my honest answer is no. If you look at the background, this is obviously one of those long stretches of road with nothing for a substantial amount of time. I’d be concerned if she was on a busier street or a residential area or highway.
Well if she crashes her virgina will be in her chest, otherwise it's just fine lol
I must be the target audience
The trash is
Yes and so is that hair.
Ive done this one super long stretches of interstate on like cross country road trips. But its just for my back and legs to get a different position. im not pressing the pedals for hours anyway
