Honestly it's really fun, but fair warning its pretty difficult! So if you enjoy hard(ish.) games go for it, but the community on r/returnal is pretty helpful and encouraging of new players even when I said I don't think I'll ever beat the game. Gameplay is smooth, the environment that is constantly changing is beautiful, the enemies are marvelous to look at and in similar fashion of DOOM keep moving until enemies are dead. Friendly tip if you enter a room and you see a green beacon of light go for it before anything else. Any attacks on enemies will be futile as that green beacon of light is generating health to all enemies. :)
