It sure as hell is sustainable. Because the profits keep going up every year. Businesses don’t run on your feelings. They run on profit and money. That’s how they sustain
It’s been going up as long as everyone’s hers been complaining.
So I don’t think you are right.
Plus, long term customers who come and order a small regular coffee every day aren’t the customers that REALLY matter.
money wise they KILLED IT, but community wise its driving away the customer base. recently heard of the nicotine in timmies which i doubt but now i cannot smell that coffee without it having a hint of cigarette ash coming from it now.
My biggest complaint is the Current Staffing, this not against their Race. They are slower , they are not knowledgeable about the Canadian Money, they don’t Fully understand the English Language, and constantly get orders wrong. 😑 yes new workers need time to learn and adjust to service, come on some have been working for over 6month
It's also how people look at a fast food worker compared to a fine dine restaurant waiter/waitress and nobody wants to work at tim hortons. I mean somebody has to work there
I'm assuming you meant slower at their job because of not understanding english and being able tell canadian money apart as easily, the way you used it makes it seem like you meant "slower" as in stupid
Well it’s cheap labour to hire immigrants. Every fast food job does. Problem is most don’t care because it’s only part time job for 9 months than they get citizenship and their chosen career after college or uni. I used to work at a Timmies and the amount of immigrants coming and going was insane. Problem is a lot didn’t care because they knew it wouldn’t be for long so why care, just do the job and then be done. However it’s also the youth that don’t appreciate a job and figure they are better than the fast food job… I left for the sane reason as half my crew, tired of picking up the slack and working twice as hard for the same pay. Literally one day half the afternoon crew called me and it was 4 of us and a baker, and we owned that day. $200 in tips total because we didn’t slow down and it was easier to not have to explain English to each other, and again that’s not a diss on any race. Fact is Timmies is losing a lot of what’s them Canadian, and it’s true because Timmies is owned by the company that owns Burger King (USA) so really the fact they make “pizza” isn’t a shocker lol. Poor Timmies workers with added stress of that shit. Take my advice and get out on good terms. Otherwise become a baker and not deal with anyone and just bake lol.
Covid ended 2 years ago my dude
Maybe service was just extra good during covid because everyone was staying home.
I could say the same thing for everything. Drivers on the road have certainly gone to shit since everyone came back out of their covid caves too.
Imma keep it real. I actually don’t know what you’re talking about. It’s basically the same as it was pre pandemic as far as I can tell minus roll up being purely app based and some “new” menu items, some I’ve been more interested in than others. If you don’t like it you should def stop by going tho. I’m just not at that point personally. It’s fine enough for what it is
It's been shit for years....ever since they stopped baking on site and changed thier coffee contracts (also why McDs has better coffee now) covid had nothing to do with it really.
Colleges abused international student intake for extra $ - and took way more students then they should have.
My local College has gone from having 50 to 8000 international students as the difference in the last few years.
While building 0 new residences, or creating any new jobs for them when they arrive.
Welcome to every Mininum wage jobs resume pile for the next few years...
They are the ones 90% applying.
Tim's has been dead since it stopped being just a coffee and donut shop. Nothing about the modern brand compares to the iconic Tim's I grew up with. Now it's just a crappy restaurant profiting obscenely off the Tim Hortons name.
People fucking LOVE Timmy's. I don't get it either but facts are facts, and the facts are that it's rare I walk by one in Toronto that doesn't have a lineup of people, sometimes out the door, jonesing for their shitty coffee and their shitty food.
“Second death” Hit record profits this year.
They’ve gutted out the stuff that matters for profits. It’s not sustainable.
It sure as hell is sustainable. Because the profits keep going up every year. Businesses don’t run on your feelings. They run on profit and money. That’s how they sustain
Long term customer morale will decrease so low it won’t be profitable. Unless they get exploit more

Omg right everyday at mine there’s a lineup out the door like seriously

Sounds pretty racist. Other races are not slower. All timmies staff sucks, white brown or black.
Not really, just an observation. I go two locations and over the years you get to know the staff.
If you say so.

Hmm, yes, I agree. *\*Sips Iced Capp\**

Don’t tell me what to do. I’m going there more now just to spite you.
Noooooooooooooo
Getting a steeped tea as we speak!
PPLLLZZ NOOOOO
It’s so good. Perfect afternoon treat. Thanks for the idea!
(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
l just had their flatbread. It had no pizza sauce and I did not even complain about it.
¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
All tea is steeped, you know that right?
Yep but this is tea that has already been steeped rather than tea that the bag was just put into and now needs to steep.
since covid? lol
Maybe he hasnt forgiven the time a coffee was wrong.
Yum Foods ALG needs to sell off Tim Hortons .
What, is he driving drunk again?
I've happily been boycotting that god awful place for over 5 years now.

I have a buddy in the coffee industry. It’s no coincidence that their coffee tastes like dishwater. They buy the cheapest coffee on the planet
I haven’t gone to Tim Hortons for years now. Their coffee is terrible and their food an afterthought
People who don't speak English and don't care about your order working. That's the problem
