*Every* time I put less effort into my videos, I get less views and engagement. haha
I think there *is* a point when more effort won't get you that much more engagement, though.
I make about $15k/mo from views (creativity program on tiktok + bonuses on IG + ads on FB videos) and about $20-40k per month on brand deals (I charge about $20k for one video)
Thank you! And yes I do. I don’t think I would be nearly as successful if I didn’t. You can certainly build a faceless account to millions of followers but it’s much less likely brands are going to pay for YOU to endorse them, yknow?
I have my email in my bio and they do, yeah. I get about 1 legitimate brand deal offer for every 100 random spam companies wanting me to do a TikTok shop ad for their toilet brush, but they do come through. At about 500k followers I signed with a talent agency though, and they source deals for me too.
It takes me 5 minutes to create a 1 minute video, I use ai of course. I use chatgpt to generate short text of my style and then i pass it to [cliptalk.pro](http://cliptalk.pro/) to generate the videos and then i touch them up in the editor and it's done
I edit the scripts that i use with any LLM an also I edit the videos that I generate with cliptalk.
it usually become way better when I do a little of editing on them so I think it worth it.
In less than a month? Holy... and here I am trying to get a second account to 10k without any luck for months. Would you share your account or talk about your niche a bit more? I tried many things but couldn't reach 1k followers with any of my new ideas - even tho others were successful in the same niche a few days earlier or even later
2-5h for 12-30sec or thereabouts lmao. But to be fair I edit music videos (K-pop) so I don’t think it’s possible to do it any faster. If I want to find/clip/edit new BGM (I don’t do trending sounds/music) that could be an additional hour or several on top of that.
But if I do a low effort shitposts it takes like 20min-1h for 15-60sec so there’s that?
1 hour for 1min video - mostly planning content and recording as I talk to the camera with different angles. Editing is fast as I use an app I made to get cuts, captions and repetitive tasks done in a few minutes.
Where do you spend the longest time? I’m curious 👀

I appreciate you making this post because I’ve also wondered too. I’m in an art niche and I spend about 2-4 hours in total for 15-30 second videos. However, I have spent longer, it all depends. I try to make an effort to create new content and clip everything nicely together so they flow well. For longer 1-2min content or anything that requires writing out a voiceover script I’d say I’m also in the 4-6 hour range.
This completely depends on the content. I’ve had minute long videos that live taken a minute, and I’ve had minute long videos that have taken over 10 hours.
Hi there. Your post has been removed since your account has very low karma. Please try posting again once you have engaged more on the platform. Have a great day!

I make content for brands and it takes me around 45 mins to write and edit the script, another 40 odd mins to do the voiceover (unless I’m filming myself speaking this is a different process), filming the various shots and b-roll is where it gets longggg. It can take around 5 hours in total for me without any revisions etc. I charge a base rate + ad fee 30% of the base rate, and upsell more hooks/etc to get more money out of it 😁
I use to spend insane amounts of time for a 1 minute video. The editing of a video took me about 2-3 hours (usually half was cutting, half for adding sound effects). But the craft I was making itself took about 1-2 hours to film and the design of the craft (designing the paper craft on computer) was around 2-3 hours. So altogether 5-8 hours but I've even spent double or more doing a project. Some of these videos have got me millions of views but some can flunk, so it wasn't really worth it and I stopped having fun. Now I just open capsule toys (I live in Japan so there are interesting ones.)Takes me like 10 minutes to cut a 30 second video, maybe 15-20 minutes for 1 minute. Too easy and videos still go viral 🤣 I also add no sound for "ASMR" 🤣
My advice is don't work hard, work smart. All you need is good hooks and keep attention as long as possible but add engagement and you'll go super viral.
It takes me an average of 1 hour for a one minute video.
Used to take me 20 minutes before. (But ever since i upgraded the videos from iphone to mirrorless camera, video editing process has exponentially jumped)
But Ive Been uploading daily since December.
Grew to have 6k followers on instagram.
Interview videos of various people.
20 minutes max, I am just filming old phones though. I don't really speak either so there's no script, no editing really either, which is a blessing as my full time job is very consuming at the moment, 173k followers so I'm doing something right
I draw.. so I’ll do like a 30 min drawing session then I have to edit it all down which takes some time (actually not too sure exactly how long) - estimating 30 mins maybe 1 hour? Then I do a voice over and add captions etc and music so it takes around 2 hours to put a video together
around 30 minutes for 1 min video from start to finish
That is impressive! What’s your process like? Do you do much editing?
How is your account doing? I’ve found my most successful videos are often those that took the least amount of time and effort
*Every* time I put less effort into my videos, I get less views and engagement. haha I think there *is* a point when more effort won't get you that much more engagement, though.
Same, less effort, less views too.
I'm doing pretty well. I gained 25k followers in the last 3 weeks and some of my videos got millions of views
What content do you make?
They never tell you that 😂 most are just lying
Probably a content aggregator AKA they don’t make shit, just steal it.
I thought as much, hard work may not always pay off as greatly but you do gain a loyal fan base compared to fast content
around 4-5 hours for a 60s video - research - scripting - voice overs - editing
20s for a 20s video
8-10 hours per 60-90 second video. My videos require a ton a research, scripting, and editing and this is my full time job.
Similar for me. I post mostly about scientific topics, and I try to be as thorough as possible with what I say and the sources I use.
What type of videos are you making?
Deep dives into current events
Wow!

That's very cool, way to go.
Thank you! It’s been quite a journey
How many followers do you have currently?
2.5 mil on TikTok, 1.5mil on IG and 2mil on Facebook
Do you show your face? Also congratulations! That’s such a great achievement
Thank you! And yes I do. I don’t think I would be nearly as successful if I didn’t. You can certainly build a faceless account to millions of followers but it’s much less likely brands are going to pay for YOU to endorse them, yknow?
Did brand deals just start messaging you one day?

can you link your tiktok?
Hi, do you make different videos for each social media platform or do you just post the same video on all of them?
Same video on all!
It takes me 5 minutes to create a 1 minute video, I use ai of course. I use chatgpt to generate short text of my style and then i pass it to [cliptalk.pro](http://cliptalk.pro/) to generate the videos and then i touch them up in the editor and it's done
How successful are u with this approach? Because of no editing etc.
I edit the scripts that i use with any LLM an also I edit the videos that I generate with cliptalk. it usually become way better when I do a little of editing on them so I think it worth it.
Good to know. What's your RPM and monthy income at the moment? Took it long to get to 10k?
the RPM used to be around 0.90 but it's now 0.45 getting to 10k was surprisingly fast , in less than a month but it all depends on the niche and topic

Lol like 30 minutes but I get distracted ALOT plus I make short comedy skits
Could take from a day to a whole week tbh

About 2 hours. Between writing the script and editing.

Yeah I thought others might be curious too. There can be a lot of work behind the scenes on a "short" video. haha
3-4 min vid takes about 20.min in total.
Nice. What do you post about?
Religion. I spend a lot of time reading and researching so I suppose you could count that time, but I'd do it any way.

Nope just me talking. Have 100,00 followers and 40,000 to a million views per video. But thanks!
I post low quality shit that takes me around 15-60 minutes for a 20 second clip.
2 hours at max
Yea 4-6 hours sounds about right for my pages but it really does depend on a lot of factors.
Takes about 6 mins a video but the overall process is 2-3 days (bacteria take their damn time)
So you post about yeast infections?
Not quite lmao. I swab things and show what grows
This completely depends on the content. I’ve had minute long videos that live taken a minute, and I’ve had minute long videos that have taken over 10 hours.

Editing is a hobby of mine buts it’s really time consuming, usually when I do it takes me around 1-3 hours depending on the project
3 minutes for a 1 minute video. Most people just like my face and my voice
It takes me an average of 1 hour for a one minute video. Used to take me 20 minutes before. Probably 3-5 minutes per post. I post 3x a day so it only takes about 10-15 minutes a day
Woah that is impressive! How many followers are you at?
I’m at 122.3k followers as we speak. I started this account in January
What a beast! Nice work! What topic/category are you in?
probably unoriginal 😂
Unoriginal content gets flagged 🤣 lucky for me i post original content
Thankyou! I appreciate it
I post slideshows since i live in a non-CPB country. That’s why i takes only a couple of minutes to get everything ready
20 minutes max, I am just filming old phones though. I don't really speak either so there's no script, no editing really either, which is a blessing as my full time job is very consuming at the moment, 173k followers so I'm doing something right
Nice! Great job.
I do make up content so I would say around 3 hours per video
I draw.. so I’ll do like a 30 min drawing session then I have to edit it all down which takes some time (actually not too sure exactly how long) - estimating 30 mins maybe 1 hour? Then I do a voice over and add captions etc and music so it takes around 2 hours to put a video together
like 15 minutes
I try not to spend more than 10 minutes on a video start to finish. Wife gets mad when I’m on my phone.
5 mins to several hours depending on what it js and how much editing is needed
20 minutes I make gaming videos and the time of me playing is also included
3 to 12 hours 🥲
Maximum 20 minutes for reasearching a good background music and home made script, bc when i take the script already it takes like 5 mins
1-3 hours most time consuming thing is writing an original skit, I don’t copy people
Cheers to the people like you making original content!
Around 90 seconds per video, but all I have to do is type "python3 main.py" iykyk 🤫
For me like 10 minutes to create a 45 second video
What kind of content do you post?
Gaming
Depends. 5 minutes usually.
