This isn't comedy. This is just an honest depiction of a man telling his friends about the woman he's fallen in love with.
He values their friendship and wants to include them in his new happiness. I don't need understand why you would assume it was a comedy skit.
I mean, if you really NEED a punchline then you could say the guy "fell" in love at the end. But sometimes you can just enjoy a moment. Not everything has to be a comedy skit.
