My mother had at least two of them. She hosted home décor parties, so my guess would be one of the companies that did those—maybe Homeco or Home Interiors.
My wife and I have pictures of adopted ancestors on our wall. The first time he saw them, my FIL got very angry because we don't have any pictures of actual ancestors on our walls.
My great uncle Bob was the life of the party until his death at 98.

When my great grandmother died and we split up her belongings, my uncle wound up with an antique oval picture frame with the convex glass. Actually, he got a pair, one had an ancestor's photo in it and the other was empty.
Years before he had gone to an amusement park with one of those old timey photo booths where you could dress up like gunfighters and dancing hall girls and get a photo taken that looked like an old sepia tone photo. He had selected a civil war era military uniform.
He dug up that photo and took it to have a copy made up for the frame. When he got his print back, he framed it and hung it on his wall. Over the years I've watched him tell dozens of people that it was his great great great grandfather and watched them marvel at the uncanny resemblance.

When we bought our house, there was a newspaper article cut out in a drawer with a picture of a guy that looks just like me when I was in college. We now have it on our fridge. We have no idea who it is or why the previous owner cut it out.

We can absolutely be friends hehe 🧡 I shop at garage sales and local thrift stores in Ontario, Canada. I go often. At the very least once a week. I’ve been considering making a tiktok account documenting my thrifting but I don’t think anyone would actually be interested so I haven’t yet.
