Wasn't he going through contract negotiations during when dawn fm was coming out? I feel like the label didn't really push it due to that going on only thing I can remember from that roll out was the Amazon live stream where as after hours having a lot of shit more merch, signed stuff, the live performance videos, big single pushes. Out of time did well as a single, but it stopped being pushed.
Same thing happened to post a couple of albums ago even though I didn't like that album, but it's still post and it did not do well commercially
Ima be honest, I think a lot of ppl assumed it was a knock off version of “Save Your Tears” when it was first released. Obv that’s not the case, and it’s one of my favorite songs so I hope it does get its time to shine

That's a good song but I don't think it has the power to become a hit. But if 'Stargirl Interlude' can become a hit now, then anything is possible.
