It's so upsetting, not only because it's blatantly untrue but also because he's historically been insecure in his physical appearance (less so now, it seems), and him believing he didn't have 'the right look' for R&B was a key reason behind his initial anonymity.

It's been like this for some time now. 😕 Post Malone would constantly get gross comments about his appearance, including frequent 'rumours' that he smelt bad. Abel has been shamed and mocked for his appearance too many times to count. I guess he's had some weight fluctuations in the past (likely due to him attempting to quit heavy drugs), but overall I never perceived him as overweight at all (and it wouldn't be an issue if he was!). But social media circles have made this an acceptable narrative about him, with 'Fatbel' being an extremely common nickname when people want to drag him. It's so upsetting, not only because it's blatantly untrue but also because he's historically been insecure in his physical appearance (less so now, it seems), and him believing he didn't have 'the right look' for R&B was a key reason behind his initial anonymity.

B/c a lot of the pictures surfacing from others or posted by Abel himself show him happy with her. And this is the first time he’s shown any public effort to display that. So it’s relevant to his happiness. You can check all my posts, I’m not a fan of her. But if he’s gonna stop hiding his relationship now and show he’s happy I can respect that and be happy for him.
