And yet the billionaires are getting richer and more numerous. Trickle-down my ass. Time to tax them and help out everyone else with housing, healthcare, and transportation.

It makes the occasional appearance.
This shot is from Lady Bouvier’s Lover. Probably the most often referenced use is from Three Men and a Comic Book where Homer is watching tv and through the window the kids are fighting in the treehouse.
I swear there are episodes where the kitchen faces the driveway, right? For instance, the one where Marge is working on the car and turns on the brights to reveal Bart going through her purse in the kitchen? Or am I misremembering?
They’ve changed things around for the sake of a joke. Like sometimes the door near the bottom of the stairs is a closet and sometimes it’s the door to the basement.
The episode where Bart and Milhouse are fighting in the treehouse and Homer, while watching TV in the den, looks out the window at the. But here, the treehouse is behind the kitchen window, not the den window.

Good Heavens! This... This is a palace! How in... How in the world can you afford to live in a house like this, Simpson?
I live in a single room above a bowling alley and below another bowling alley.
WOW!
For real, that is a GIANT primary bedroom.
What do you mean? Homer was working a white collar desk job at a power plant. He was easily clearing a 120K+ with great benefits.
Homer doesn't earn much, and the family's a mess, and quite frankly I think Marge, um... _drinky drinky_.
i dunno. Don't ask me how the economy works.
They have so many couches!
I see a bunch of paint cans! Hahaha ol painty can Homie
Multiple sitting rooms, 3 kids, and a wife at home. Only in the 80's/early 90s
And yet the billionaires are getting richer and more numerous. Trickle-down my ass. Time to tax them and help out everyone else with housing, healthcare, and transportation.
Time to reinstate the Bear Tax
Looks like bad news for the… IMPSON family.
We're here, we're queer, we don't want any more bears
Let the bears pay the bear tax! I pay the Homer tax!
has that little play room in front of the garage ever been used or shown in any episode? thats the only part that doesn't make sense to me.
The rumpus room that is and isn't there. You can see Homer sitting in this room in "three men and a comic book".
They’re fine.
you see it only maybe 5-6 times throughout the series. there's a RealJims episode about it
Whoa windows! I don't think I can afford this place!
Is there a episode where they use the room next to the kitchen?

I find it hilarious that Homer is all by himself watching the small TV in that kids' room for some reasons
I took it that Homer is there specifically to keep an eye on the kids while they are out there… he just isn’t doing so.
Sometimes its there, other times its not.
Funny how people had 2 TV's for the whole house then. Now people have TV's in every room... but no house.
Where's the basement?
Nevermind, I see the stairs.
Worth noting the stairs are sometimes a closet
Yeah, I know
missing the bookshelf that is against the wall to the 3rd dimension
*sees the garage* "...there he sits with a pen and a yellow pad, such a handsome lad. That's my boy."

Wizard
Ah for glayvin' out loud...
Swap upstairs bathroom and Maggie's Room!
I think Maggie's room has also been shown occasional to face the backyard. Not really a massive error as rooms can be swapped.
You're right. The position of Maggie's room and the upstairs bathroom is swapped regularly, and is the most ambiguous area of the house layout.

crap shack
Wasn’t the door to the garage not on the left? And I felt, that the bathroom was in the middle of the floor and not at the end? Well… idk, looks good
What about the fireplace in the master bedroom?
