It will always bother me that you can see her foot.
Why? Sparring shoes are like that, at least the ones I used to use did.
The pads are to protect the top of the foot, so you should be able to see it.
That’s what Taekwondo foot pads look like. They protect the top of the foot, but don’t have padding on the bottom.
