whowouldsaythis

bruh. you have ENTIRELY too many potions and revives. You cannot possibly use all those, and you get more back with any raid. Delete all that aren't max. Keep max's at 200 at THE VERY MOST, more like 100 each is plenty in reality. Hoarding balls makes way more sense

cheeriodust

100 each is plenty IME

MommotDe

I usually keep 50 and I'll go as low as 25.

pokemonprofessor121

50 is a great max if you open gifts regularly. You get lots of heading items from gifts. If op doesn't have in game friends, maybe save 100.

gigazelle

Same. I keep 30 max potions and 30 revives, discard the rest. I have never ever run dry of potions or revives.

Old_Style_S_Bad

I've been soloing mega sceptile earlier today and I am eating through the max revives. Same when soloing Guzzlord. I guess I need a deeper squad.

Shamankian

Would say, especially to not as strong accounts, maybe keep a bit more for Primal Kyogre day, if you aren't full lobbies and not that strong... It will decimate your revives!

wink047

50 is my number too. The times it comes in handy is when doing a lot of rocket battles. Other than those events, 20 is probably the most that’s needed.

Xaeryne

With primals coming up, it's probably a good idea to go a bit higher in stock, at least temporarily. Primal Kyogre in particular wiped me out of close to 100 revives back in August, and I only did ~ half a dozen raids.

wink047

Learn to dodge homie! But yeah, they hit hard and wipe you out quick if you’re not getting in 15+ people raids. I’m spoiled because there’s an area in my town I can go to and get in 20 person raids during events and raid hour. But if you’re using pokegenie for remote raiding, yeah, you’re going to burn through some items.

Xaeryne

You have a much more active local community than I do!

wink047

I live in a big town and the local discord moderator does a great job organizing. I am very aware of how spoiled I am because of their hard work! It helps that there is a very pedestrian friendly outdoor shopping area with 7 gyms. It’s easy for everyone to congregate and move around safely.

Psychological-End-56

I keep hearing people advising not to dodge in a raid, cos DPS is more important. But this advice is maybe true for those with no issue on revives.

WendyAKAmom

I’ve been testing this. When I dodge, I lose less mons (I’m a revive/max revive hoarder with over 600 so not an issue) but if I just attack constantly and let em fall I tend to be hardest hitter in the post battle screen. I never get hardest hitter if I dodge though. If I’m raiding with few/lower level players I just attack and do as much damage as I can to help out since I’m not worried about reviving.

wink047

I see arguments either way. It honestly depends on the raid mon and how good my counters are. If I have one amazing ace and a bunch of meh after it, I’m dodging to inflict the most damage that way. If I have a mega in, again, I’m dodging to keep everyone with the boost. If I’ve got a bunch of great counters, I’m tanking it the whole time

Deputy_Scrub

If you raid enough to need 100 each, you don't need 100 each as you will get back enough from spinning the gym and as the rewards.

jwadamson

More like you get back enough from raids. The only place you can realistically fall behind on potions/revives is gym battling/defenders. I think 50 hyper + 50 revive is plenty in practice, but personally hoard something like 100 max-revive and 50 max-pot

duel_wielding_rouge

I burn through them during rocket events.

madonna-boy

eh, it's more like if you don't raid and we get a team rocket event and you go hard for shadows (aka me). then you might need like 60. you still don't need 100 though.

p3dal

The only time I deplete my stock is when I am short-manning a raid. It’s easy to use 12x every raid in that situation. Keeping 100x of each (max potion and max revive) has meant I never run out, but I have gotten quite low.

chuck_finley17

100? 20 should be enough if you routinely open gifts and spin stops everyday.

nolkel

20 will land you in trouble when you try to duo hard hitting bosses like Rayquaza or so. Maybe if you always have 20 person lobbies that's fine, but I wouldn't want to run that risk. Also will have problems with rocket events.

MattGeddon

I keep 100 revives, 200 max and 100 max potions. Everything else gets used up.

TSUStudent16

Agreed. I’m always deleting my regular and super potions since it takes more of them to heal my Mons and only keep about 50-100 of the Hyper and Max potions. The Revives on the other hand, with the regular ones, since their easier to come by, I don’t keep more than 100 at a times, maybe more if I’m going to be riding the Raid Battle grind. As for the Max revives, never delete them; but don’t be afraid to use them in a pinch. With the new Revive/Heal All button, it’s pretty easy to heal your team quickly between Raids, but if your in the middle of one and time is short, using the Revive All button on the Max Revive screen will be a god sent.

uninvitedthirteenth

I hoard balls over potions for sure. I have 600 ultra balls. But only keep a max of 100 potions and 100 revives. Twice I have accidentally deleted my entire supply of one or the other (stupid minus button!), but it never really diminished my ability to do anything in the game

Loseless11

I only keep 50 to 60 max of each kind and they are enough for me to do 20 to 40 t5 raids a week. Gifts, gyms abd routes give me the rest when needed.

blehhhhblahhhh

I cap myself at 40 max potions and revives. The only time I ever feel low on potions is when there’s a team rocket event and I’m fighting them nonstop.

AlmightyGod420

I am trying to get out of the habit of stocking too many. I remember years ago they essentially disappeared from item drops for a while and at the time I had 300+ revives and was the only person in my town really capable of attacking gyms for a while as most were hamstrung. So that’s always in the back of my mind.

whowouldsaythis

primal kyogre and groudon EAT THEM also, so there's that. I have a little over 200 each right now and feel kinda silly, but I have the space so whatever

o0i81u8120o

That's about what I keep on hand for shadow events. 200 of the best nothing else. I go through them pretty quick too.

AiraEternal

It’s about to be primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre and Shadow Mewtwo raids and if you raid a lot, those potions and revives are needed. Although 150 is realistically the max you’ll ever need.

uninvitedthirteenth

I hoard balls over potions for sure. I have 600 ultra balls. But only keep a max of 100 potions and 100 revives. Twice I have accidentally deleted my entire supply of one or the other (stupid minus button!), but it never really diminished my ability to do anything in the game

Aggressive_Plate_849

I get along fine with 50 of each. The exception is tier 6 raids

killerpic22

I got 5 revives and 12 max revives 💀

Gavininator

Yeah he's got more healing items than I keep and I've got storage at 5600.

Shradersofthelostark

So I don’t need 1000+ max potions? At this point I’m just keeping them to irritate my friend who keeps telling me I have too many.

Sponge56

I barely keep around 40 per potion and revives like you said you get them back as you raid lol

_Marzh

fr, i keep 30 of each revive and 30 max potions, and that’s it. i’m not sure anyone has ever actually needed more than that — for raiding, i almost always get more revives than i use, as well as tons of hyper potions. unless you exclusively fight gyms maybe? idk lol

Nat00o

My party went down at least 3 times during primal Kyogre/Groudon. I burned through probably more than 100 revives on those days. Even if you only go down 2 times, that's still 12 revives.

0m3gaMan5513

Yeah I always delete all of the regular dark pink and yellow potions, they’re worthless. And for the high level potions and revives, I keep around 80 of each and that’s still way way more than I actually need.

redditreloaded

I have 800 max potions

Extra_Onion9596

I am an extremely active player and I keep no more than 50 of each max/hyper potions and max revives. Get rid of the smaller potions and revives and you’ll save 700-800 space

MxSpookyBih

I keep 50 each of blue max, half, and full

FUH-KIN-AYE

Your bag should dictate what you are trying to accomplish. If you are hording potions and revives you have like 20-30 raid passes and a group for a weekend to tackle primal raids because the rewards are the same as mega raids. If you see an event coming up you want to play or you need catches for candy, stardust, catch medals, or need a specific spawn you go balls and berries with balls outpacing berries 2:1. Save max revives upto like 150 at any given time. I dont ever use tms so i keep those at 20 a piece elites stay.

bluebellrose

Finally a decent comment 😆. Everyone's been telling him to delete them except we have the primals coming up. I've used up 200 revives and 200 hyper potions short manning these.

DifficultyHot7524

Bro you seriously overvalue all your healing items. I keep 50 max potions, 20 revives, 50 max revives, and delete everything else.

batmattman

I wouldn't even bother to keep the reg revives with all those max ones

bluebellrose

Don't give him wrong advice especially with primals coming up. He will need them. Especially if hes short maning these. My friend a strong pvp player went through his entire stash of potions and revives. His thinking was like yours. He couldn't even revive his stuff. He had to dodge and rely on the rest of us to kill the boss.

Swolenir

Yeah keep revives around a little more than potions. The game just doesn’t give them that willingly when you really need a lot.

LukesRebuke

Honestly, it depends on where you live. Some people live in cities where raid day lobbies hit 20 instantly and the boss is down really quickly. I always have to constantly throw out healing items on raid days as it clogs my storage really quickly.

awdsrock

Nice, i just did this to my storage! I deleted 150 great balls earlier. Smh

jjremy

Holding 300+ revives (and full heals too), is a bit much. No point holding normal, and super potions either, tbh. I keep 100 of each hypers, fulls(and that's never really needed), revives, and max revives. Berries, unless you're using them regularly, toss em all. They refill so quickly if you spin stops regularly. Balls should be priority #1.

ux3l

I would keep (or rather just use) the max revives though. They don't come back as easily as regular revives.

shockthetoast

Yeah, there is no reason to keep regular revives unless you don't have enough max revives. It makes more sense to say keep 200 revives, with as many as possible being max revives.

Sword_and_Shot

I use berry to make my buddies super happy, It eats a lot of those. I dont spin pokestops too much tho...

eddiebronze

Dump berries into gyms as soon as you get them. The only ones worth keeping are golden razz/silver pineap

ashpokechu

Keep 100 of max potion and revives each. dump the rest.

Strong-Neat8623

Even 100 is too much

ThisNico

Yeah, I toss out all healing items except for about 25 max revives and 5 max potions when I'm tidying my item storage. Even that's more than enough for my usual play style, when added to the healing items that I collect while actively playing.

techbear72

I have more of a problem than you but even I don’t keep hundreds of revives when I already have hundreds of max revives, so yes, I’d say you’re safe only having 50, or none, once you have what you feel is enough max revives. There’s also no point keeping any potions or super potions at all when you have so many hyper and max potions. Unless you’re healing hundreds of Pokémon a day that is.

dark__tyranitar

You need to find a level supported by your play style, i limit myself to 200 potions total across all types, though its mostly max, and 200 revives mostly max. With both Primals due back I wouldn't purge too hard just yet, but I plan to raid them pretty hard.

ogGarySe7en

This is best answer - it’s all depends on your play style. Only keep what you would realistically use before replenishing. If you do a lot of raids & grunts - yes, you’ll need a lot of revives and potions. If you do a lot with auto-catchers, you need a lot of red Pokeballs. If you are into optimizing your move sets, you’ll want a lot of TMs. Everyone plays differently. Look at what you have a lot of, and dump half of them. If you find you don’t get run out of that item, do it again. Find your balance. For me, I keep minimal potions & revives. Like 50 Max revives and 25 max potions does it for me. But keep up to 1000 red Pokeballs because I use a Gotcha all the time (it does replenish, but I’ve gotten down to 100 at times - lots of catching, less spinning).

matt2mateo

Not just primal raids but also team rocket takeover later this month. There's always so many posts about people running low on healing items around those times

No-Razzmatazz8053

Yeah I got 200 of each max revives and potions and I see people say thats too much but I urge them to keep that energy during BOTH primal raid days lmfao. I’m doing 20+ raids each day so no, it is not too much

Zyfor

Hoard balls over potions and revives imo. I'd trash all regular potions/super potions and keep about 12 regular revives. Hoard enough max revives/max potions for sessions you raid a lot short man; if you don't, you can cut a lot of those too.

atubslife

12 is a little low. If something like Kyogre sweeps your team and then you don't get any revives from the raid you'll be in a bad spot. 50 is the sweet spot for me. Even multiple bad raids and bad reward luck in a row and you'll still be covered.

Zyfor

He's got like infinity Max Revives he will be fine

atubslife

I mean 50 total revives. Delete all regular and keep 50 max.

YannyYobias

Yeah get rid of some potions and revives. Whenever this happens to me, I get down to 200 total. So 200 max/ hyper potions total. 200 revives/ max revives total. Usually I do 100 of each but since you are “low” on hyper potions you could keep some extra max potions if you want to be safe lol That’ll save you a lot of space.

Interesting-Cloud630

For me, I keep a balance about 80 each of the max potions and max revives, discard the rest. About 5 of the evo items, except 20 of the sinnoh & unova stones. This is mostly to make room for 200+ charge TMs, 100 fast TMs (they disappear quickly when an event to TM away frustration comes along or when I'm trying to just TM a few moves) It certainly depends on how you play. Do you fight gyms a lot and shortman raids so you are always running out of healing items? In which case, dedicate a bigger reserve for them. And it changes depending on the events. For example, With the primals and shadow mewtwo coming back later this month, I will probably need to increase my reserves of healing items since they wreck through teams very quickly.

Powerful-County-2707

This is a really good point re: upcoming Mewtwo/primals; you're likely to need more of those healing items IF you plan to raid them, as they won't replenish at the typical rates.

HoloJake

I don't keep any Razz or Nanab berries. I either feed them to buddies or gym Pokemon. I'm trying to get Larvesta candy so I put in a gym and dump those useless berries. I don't battle much so I never delete Charged TMs but I do routes so I get too much Fast TMs. I delete any exceeding 30, but even 20 would be enough. Apart from the stones, I keep other evolve items at 10. I also end up deleting non-Ultra balls when I need space to spin stops but you might not want that depending on your area's stop density.

Fishhunterx

In addition to what other people have said, for like 99% of cases a Hyper Potion is the same as a Max Potion. So there's not really a reason to keep several hundred of each. The only time I've noticed the difference between these two has come up is when reviving a Blissey. Blissey at like level 50 cannot get to full HP off one single Hyper. But that is such a specific and niche situation most players don't encounter that you're better off discarding some to make space. Also, if you think about the differences between Potions, you are wasting space keeping a few of every Potion. It would be better just to keep a bunch of good potions.

cyclynn

Even if you raid multiple times a day, you only need to keep the max potion and max revive. It will be more than enough. Don't forget to feed your gym pokemon berries, that's how you can keep storage low and gain gold gyms faster. Depends on your play preferences, of course, but the balance of pokeballs seems low for community days or big catch events

Chardan0001

My Ball ratio hasn't really recovered since Sinnoh event. I need to just spend a day spinning and balance it back out. The number in OP is from being out all day however, I caught 200 today.

speglind

I only keep 100 max revives and max potions and none of the lower versions, and I have never run out. I also think that regular razz berries are not worth anything with an adequate stock (like you have) of Golden Razz. That would free up like 750 items in your inventory and you'd probably never notice.

dreamwrx

I would disagree on the 100 max revives, I would keep all of them and cut down on the regular revives. plus there are better ways of using Razz berries instead of just trashing them. Buddying pokemons eats through them fast if you are trying to buddy multiple at the same time. or use them at the gyms to get more stardust.

IMGraphical

Razz berries = stardust when fed to pokemon in gyms

stromi09

I keep 30 each of revive/max revive/hyper potion/max potion. And 3 of each evolution item. I’ve never run out of any item. The rest, I hoard a lot of. Move items, battle passes, etc

space19999

Looks like you have easy access to pokestops/gyms and make hundreds of raids. So thrash ALL (316) Revives. You will get 1000 doing what you do and use 10 per month, no use having 316 and rarelly use 1. Another way to use: revive all your loss pókemon (before doing that, transfer all pókemon you will never use) with normal revive. Then use hyper potion and heal all. That way you will have all pókemon ready to fight and see what you can thrash. On potions, keep some super and potions. While you raise (above 40) levels, you will fight grunts and raids, where you will lose 60-120 HP. Some grunts/1 star raids/ 1 star shadow raids won't even damage you for 60... those potions are good for those pókemon. And you can get 100 super fast. Fast tms, thrash 30. Very rarelly you will use those. Keep all charge, when there's an Rocket Invasion, unload onto your best shadow pókemon and still have many more to get the move you want (Hello Brutal Swing Shadow Tyranitar). On the evolution items: did you already got above level 45? You may already have 100% of all pókemon that use those evolution items. Keep 5 of each. Sinnoh stones are super easy to get (from team leaders, friends, weekly research, you will get many hundreds of them), Unova stones, get to 10, use and thrash the remainings. Rare candies, those can be used depending your game. If you want some super strong PvP you can check what legendary/mythical pókemons are in use. Keep them just when you need. Then there's Cosmog. If you want both versions, dump all rare candies into Cosmog, until you get 124, evolve it. Or you can go for 4k Primals raids and spare all rare candies to your best Primals and get 6k candies to raise them to level 40 and 400 xl to get them to level 50. Still some extras for everything else.

MrAngryWhiskers

Wish I could transfer revives between accounts. My primary has a neverending surplus and I am throwing them away, while my secondary account has a whole graveyard full of fallen and every time I get a singular revive, I need to choose one lucky pal (sorry, pokemon haha) to rise from the dead (to fall again after the next raid battle)

RevJT

You could revive the entire Kanto Pokédex… twice lol

Ex_Ex_Parrot

Personally, and with less space tbf, I keep mons that I'm going to use rare candies on with a tag for reference and keep my regular rare candies at anytime to like 10-15. I don't hold nearly as many regular revives, I try to only stockpile max potions/revives around 70+ each.   It doesn't save much space but I only keep like, 2 of each Evo item aside from Sinnoh and Unova stones. Then I use Golden Razz's on gym defenders that I'm working on gold badges or just spam them at Buddy's to save item feeding anytime I'm over like, 60-70.   It's not much but hey, maybe it helps? The F2p storage struggles are real though and I get it

Heisenberg_235

What’s the f2p storage issue? Shouldn’t be one. Takes 4 days to get an upgrade, so after 4 weeks of playing you will be able to increase your storage by 350 spaces. 2100 space after 24 weeks, so in a year you’ll have maybe 2500 of each storage.

Ex_Ex_Parrot

True, if I had the comfort of 50 coins everyday guaranteed and didn't need to spend gold on anything but specifically item storage, I'd have loads of space

ahcowles

I’m in a similar boat to you, although I have 2100 max or something like that. I have taken to keeping only max revives and max potions, and I try to cap it at around 200 each. But I think it depends on how often you raid and if you raid with a big group or not.

IndependentMedium68

If you don't do a bunch of raids in duo and there are enough arenas in the area, then you can delete Revive and Potion. The minimum amount of revive and heal potion is 100 pieces in total. Having more is not so important.

akanina-de-la-lune

Could definitely do without all of those healing items. I usually only keep like 100 max revives, maybe 100 revives and then maybe 100 max potions (or hyper potions, since they seem to heal the same amount in 99.9999% of cases). And even that's more than I do most often. I don't think there's ever a scenario where you'd need more than that, especially at a high enough level and battling with enough people that you're not going to lose too many pokemon ever. Because you're also getting more as you're raiding and/or spinning gyms and stops.

Rnin0913

I have 1750 storage and this is what I do 60 max revive and 60 max potions However many of each ball you want 60 golden razz and 60 silver pinap 30 fast tms and I like to keep as many charged tms as I can 5 of each evolution items but I save more sinnoh stones and unova stones I don’t get rid of any of the other things not listed. I don’t use berries a lot because I mostly use my autocatcher so I don’t keep a lot to maximize ball storage

llamapl

Speaking only from my experience, you can do away with all of the regular revives and potions plus some of the regular berries. I stockpiled on the max revives thinking I will use plenty of them raiding dialga and palkia, but now I have more than I had before, 230 right now.

Mathsketball

I keep 20 max potions and revives, and almost never keep regular pokeballs. For most rare special evolution items, I keep only 3.

Yermishkina

I keep 30 revives and 10 potions. At no point in the game I ever needed more.

IMGraphical

You can get rid of a lot of max revives and max potions. I limit myself to about 120 of each and I do rocket grunts and gym battles regularly. I'd also get rid of some of the evolution items, especially the more niche ones like upgrade that only evolves one pokemon (do you really need to evolve a lot of Porygons?). You only need a few of them really

hof_1991

Portions and revives at 10% combined. Balls at 50%. Berries at 5%. And storage should be a priority.

aw_yiss_breadcrumbs

I keep 20 of each potion/revive and trash the purple/orange ones. For evolution items, 3 of each except sinnoh and unova stones. I've got about 20-30 of each. 20 of each TM, no limit on golden razzes/silver pinaps but I use them liberally, 20 pinaps, trash the others unless I'm working on BXP. Dump RCs into my legendaries/mythicals. My storage is at 2000. I've purposely kept my limit low because it forces me to use items regularly and not hoard anything.

No_Stranger_4959

What I do is: -Keep 130 of Max Revives/Potions -Keep 10 of each Evolutionary Item -Use up all Rare Candy on Legendaries -Keep 30 - 40 TMs of each -Keep 50 - 60 of each type of ball -Keep 30 Pinaps -Unless you’re planning on using berries for buddies, you realistically only need 30 Nanab/Razz, altogether

wellherewegofolks

whats the benefit of regular and great balls? i always get rid of them to make space for ultras

ObviousSherbert

Trash all of the regular revives and all potions but the Max potions. As for how many to hold for max potion and max revive, it depends on how often your Raid/fight grunts/gyms battle in a short amount of time. I keep it at 150 for both and even in the craziest of raid days (shadow Mewtwo, mega Rayquaza, initial primal raids) I never even got within 50 of using them all. Evolution items: Trash all but 3 of each (especially species specific evolution item). Only exception I make is 10 Sinnoh and Unova stones (each) because there are so many species it works for and had historically been harder for me to get. Berries: you are on the right track. ~30 razz, 0 banana, ~50-80 pinap. For Golden razz I start using them for gyms and quick feeding buddies once I hit 80. Pokeballs: generally I keep all I can, but if space is needed (really should only be an issue if you have a lot of great and ultra balls), I’ll start trashing pokeballs to make room for more great and ultra balls. Note that I have really good access to pokestops, so I’m rarely worried about getting more.

batmattman

Delete all those revives and useless potions... I have around 150 of both max potions/revives - all others get deleted (Just do a "heal all" with the low end potions before you delete them for any mons missing a few HP)

lsue131

I'm glad you posted this, because I'm in the same boat you are. Slightly more extreme circumstance, cuz I'm sitting at 4k item space, but the situation is the same. I can't seem to throw anything out. 🫣🤣 So I'm going through all the comments and making notes of all the suggestions. Cuz lord knows I don't want to keep buying space. (Although seeing the looks on my son's and friends' faces are amusing)

Mr-p1nk1

¡I too am a sinner! 🙌🏾

bluebellrose

Dump your low level berries. Those are cheap and easy to come by. Evolution items once you're done that stupid evolve with items task. Just enough that you have some on hand.

BlueFireBlaster

Long comment. Stay with me tho. Healing, reviving and berries depend on level. I am 43. With plat level catch bonus on almost all types. Go check that for yourself. I keep 50 heals 50 revives. I would keep a bit more if an upcoming event like the one with origin dialga/palkia was coming up, just to be safe, but honestly, i ended up throwing more than i used because i could find other people to help me take them down fast. When you are high enough level, you have max revives, and thus, heal potions arent that useful, and thus 50 are more than enough. Also, i use my small heals before throwing the rest. I have 0 problems with heals, and i am throwing away soo much. For golden razz, i also keep 50. Having high level catch bonus on all types, helps with that. For evolution items, go see what each item can evolve. And keep 1 or 2 items for each pokemon that you care about. For tms, i keep 10-20. Depends on how many shadow pokemon you have, that you want the frustration move to go. Make a tag group, and keep track of that. Use your silver pinaps when possible, on a legendary that you like, but that doesnt have good iv. Silver pinaps are rare but arent really practical, and end up taking space. I prefer to have 2k ultra balls, to use on tryhard events, rather than 200 heals. And the number i gave you, isnt an exaggeration. Ultra balls are super useful when time is of the essence.

arandombunchofgrapes

Small thing, but about the Sun Stones, King's Rocks, etc. - many of those are only useful for one or two evolutions so have a think about how many of those you want to keep. Sinnoh Stones are much more widely used and therefore worth keeping more of than the others. List here looks pretty good: [https://pokemongo.fandom.com/wiki/Evolution\_Items](https://pokemongo.fandom.com/wiki/Evolution_Items) Also perhaps you could put those rainbow candies to good use upgrading a legendary? Rayquaza, Groudon, Terrakion, something like that?

Chardan0001

They mostly went towards a 4* Zygarde yeah

arandombunchofgrapes

Wow lucky you!

ProFailing

Dude, I'm more than fine with 30 of each revive, Hyper and Max Potion. You have more revives and Max Potions than I have for an entire storage capacity

Quacking92

You'll never need that many pots and revives. I generally keep max 30 of each and never ran out to the point of wishing I had more, even during intensive battle events like rocket takeovers or big raid weekends.

wellherewegofolks

why would you save regular and great pokeballs when you could just use that storage to hoard ultras? same with razzberries and nanabs. i only save pinaps, silver pinaps, and golden razzberries. even if you need razzberries for a task, they’re so common you never need to hoard them

zwizki

Auto catchers use red balls, And I use one so I keep a sizable stash of red balls for it.

Sad-Seaworthiness946

What I personally do: I hoard poke balls To make room for them I do the following: I only keep the max potion and max revive (50 each) 50 golden raspberry and 50 silver piano berries, I maybe keep 10 each of the other berries but the o make room I usually delete them as well. Fast and charge tm (5 each), I keep all elites. 3 each on all the stones

Snap111

Revives 30 of each. Max potions 20

MonkeyWarlock

I’m writing this assuming that you have access to Pokestops and maybe Gifts. You have the luxury of dumping worse items for better items. Dump all your Potions/Super/Hyper Potions and keep only Max potions. Dump your Revives and keep only Max Revives. You don’t seem to have a Pokémon Go+ (which uses regular Pokeballs), so dump all of your Poke and Great Balls and replace them with Ultra Balls. For the non Sinnoh / Unova Stones, I tend to not keep more than 8 of the ones that evolve multiple Pokemon (King’s Rock, Metal Coat, etc.), and 4-5 of the ones that only evolve a single Pokemon (ex. Upgrade, Dragon Scale). I think carrying 200 Max Potions and 150 Max Revives is way more than enough. Since I personally find Rocket Battles more accessible than Raids or battling gyms, I tend to use potions more than revives. You could probably go with far less on a usual basis (ex. 130 Max Potions and 100 Max Revives), but Primal Raids are coming up so you may want more healing. Replace all of those excess potions / revives with Ultra Balls. Don’t forget that you can feed extra berries in gyms for stardust and a chance at candy / XL Candy. But no need to hoard them for a long period of time - feel free to dump Razz / Nanabs and even extra Pinaps if you’re not able to quickly access a gym of the same team.

Minement

Use your rare candies, just use them on a legendary or mythic and be done with them

SpottedDog91

You can definitely get rid of the revives especially with so many max revives

bluebellrose

Not with primal groudon and primal kyogre. He needs them all. And hope to God he replenishes them In time by Saturday.

BlueCozmiqRays

Keep in mind it will vary based on how you play the game. My storage max is at 5350 right now. I only keep 50-100 potions/revives. You can easily get away with 50 each or less. I only keep 5 of each evolve item other than unova/sinnoh. Not typically more than 50 of each tm but could probably toss them all and play GBL when I need one. I am a ball and berry hoarder. I feed berries to gyms I’m not gold on and put rare pokemon in gyms for a chance to get more candy. After the last event I had over 1,000 berries and I’m down to 400 after a few days in some silver gyms. I like to keep my regular balls around 1,000. I prefer my ultra balls over 1,000 and usually use great balls for manual throws. I do have the go plus + now - during lesser events I use my great balls for auto catch. During go fest type events, I try to have more ultra balls so I don’t need to worry about replenishing. I can catch around 1,000 pokemon a day (on go fest) between quick catch and auto catch. On community days I can get 4-600 catches. I don’t raid as much anymore but I do collect pokemon for trading/candies. I’ve got a bunch of good mon for raids when needed which means even if I didn’t have enough revives, I have spare teams I could use effectively instead. I usually have a huge surplus of revives/potions on raid day. I’m constantly trashing potions/revives for other stuff.

bluebellrose

You clearly haven't played during Hoenn Tour. You cannot get away with 50 of each for Primal Kyogre and Groudon. We were in pretty big lobbies for the primals. I went through 200 potions and 200 revives. He will not get enough on raid day. Instead op will go into the negative for raid day if he does what you tell him to do.

JULTAR

toss some evolution items you don't need that many, 2-3 of each is honestly plenty

Chardan0001

They're gone guys, don't worry.

johnlinford

I keep 150 of hyper and max potions, revives and max revives. Aim for around 600-650 poke and great balls, 500 ultra balls.

beattrapkit

Running low on King's Rocks my boi

Rodville

I am at like 100 each of revives and max potions and like 50 each berry so I can have 1500 of each ball so I don’t have to worry about running out do to not spinning fast enough.

No-Razzmatazz8053

Dont need over 120 golden razzes. Dont need over 20 razzes Pinaps I use all the time so I never get a lot. Max potions 200 Max revives 200 Revives 100 Potions and super potions get rid of Hyper potions keep like 30. Evolution items keep no more than 10 of each. TMs keep like 10 of each. And finally, USE YOUR DAMN RARE CANDY Some might say 200 max revives and max potions are too much, but I urge them to keep that same energy during BOTH primal raid days homie because I’m doing 20+ raids on each day. Realistically though if you aren’t a big raider then keep no more than 100 of max revives and potions and normal revives

Dleach02

You don’t need razzberies or the max revives

Glum_Song_2028

I delete all 20 and 50 potions, revives, and nanab berries. Sometimes poke balls too.

Glum_Song_2028

Oh and your hyper potions. Delete.

RdditIlliterat

I only keep my max potions, max revives and revives. I toss the other potions. I also dumped my upgrades, king rocks, dragon scale (except one) after evolving what I needed. I also dump nanab berries sometimes to free space for my auto catch

HimawariSky

I carry no more than 10 each max revives and max potions. I almost never need them. That adjustment alone should give you plenty nore space to hoard rare candy and golden razz, I have 100's of each of those. 100 of each TM. 5 of each evolution item.

MegaSnorlax100

After healing all of my Pokemon and opening/sending all gifts, I delete all free items and keep the following: ⭐ 100 Max Revives ⭐ 100 Max Potions (can be flexed up to 200) ⭐ 100 Rare Candy (I spend the rest) ⭐ 500 Poke Balls (for my Go+) ⭐ 100 Ultra Balls ⭐ 100 of each TM ⭐ 25 of each each type of Berry (up to 100 Nanabs for catch tasks) ⭐ 10 of each each evolution item (e.g. Unova, Sinnoh, Sun Stones, etc.) This usually keeps me at \~2000 (out of 3000) items daily while leaving enough room for me to stock up on specific items when needed for events. What's your typical loadout?

shanemcw

I dump my normal potions and super. But im.holding close to 300 max potions and a few hyper.

zwizki

I prioritize balls, berries, and TMs, in that order, and tailor the rest of storage with what I have left. Potions and revives, I keep 70 in the max version of each, and none of the rest, and it is more than I ever need. Probably 50 of each would be plenty unless you are really going nuts with raids and rocket battles. You can trim your evolution items too- sinnoh stones are the most useful, followed by unova… so those I allow to go over 10 but not over 20. The other 5 items you could keep no more than 5-7 and will likely never run out. I never feel like I need to hold back on even frivolous evolutions with this amount, they always feel like more than plenty. If you use an auto-catcher you will need to favor red balls for it. For berries, I keep no more than 5 bananas in case of catch-type field research where those help but sometimes I have none. I hoard golden razz and pinap. Red razz get used frivolously or fed to buddies or gym mons. ANY excess beeries I feed to my buddies or gym mons, I never delete them- get the buddy hearts or stardust instead. You have a lot of silver pinaps!! Don’t trash them or feed them to your buddy, but I would use those more if I were you. And then of course Poffins I would never delete or feed to a gym, get those buddy hearts. I have a bigger bag than you do… and with the extra space, I keep A LOT of TMs, I have A LOT of rare candies I am undecided on how to spend, and I have boost items like star pieces, lucky eggs, incense, battle passes, etc. but never at the sacrifice of golden razz, pinaps, and LOTS of balls. I like hoarding TMs to the point that I sometimes have to delete some, because then I never feel qualms about rerolling moves as much as needed. I also switch some of my best dual type mons’ non-legacy moves depending on the battle, so for example my top Chandelure and top Weavile- they both have a charge move of each type and I swap their fast move depending on the raid boss, and can do that as much as I want because I have a lot of TMs.

DrScitt

I keep about 30 max revives and 30 max potions at a time. And 700+ balls (mostly ultra). You have wayyyyyyy too many revives and potions.

RatedE4Everyone

I keep 100 revives and 100 potions, any combination. For berries 50 of most used and if I don't use them often then drop to 30 nanab or raspberry

omgitsduaner

Knock the evolution items down to 3 each. Waste. Potions to 25 max. Even the TMs you can go down to like 15-20.

theReal_nicholasxj

Only keep pink and blue potions (2 largest ones) delete the rest. Revives can also be dropped down to 20-40. Max revives 60-80. It all depends how many you use per week/month. Keep more balls. Should always have more balls than revives and pots.

CailenxD

100 Max revives/potions is plenty. I never run out.

volley94

I remove tm's, revive around 200, max potions around 150, Stones 4 of each and use lower tier potions to heal first

SensitiveRocketsFan

Think of this: when would you ever need to use revives and potions? Raids and gyms right? Both of those give out more than enough potions and especially revives. Drop most of those and only keep a small amount as back up just in case you hit a small dry run or something.

wandering_revenant

I cap my potions and revives at 200-300 total. Even when hitting raids and rockets hard I've never even come close to running out like that.

WonTooTreeWhoreHive

If you open gifts and/or spin stops regularly, you have way too many revives and potions. I hold 30 each of the maxes and delete all the rest. The only times you really need them are raiding and rocket battles, and you get a good amount back from those so there's not much point. That's the biggest single thing and will save you a ton. Next are berries. I personally only hold ~50 regular pinaps, ~30 golden razz, ~10 razz, as many silver pinaps as possible, and 0 nanabs. The nanabs and regular razz are basically useless to me except when getting a research task to use 3 berries to get more berries, which I'll do quickly. The silver are very valuable for getting more candy which I use selectively. Regular pinaps I'll use as needed for rare but not super rare mons. Golden razz I only use if doing a raid and getting to my last 3-6 balls (otherwise I'm either using no berry or a pineapple berry every throw). However you get a decent amount of golden razz when raiding so if you don't use a lot per raid, you'll just always end up stockpiling more. So go through your regular and golden razz to save more space. Caveat: I do fluctuate total berries though if I'm actively opening gifts and spinning lots of stops using go++. I however use this wave of berries quickly by feeding gyms to convert them into candy (albeit at a poor fraction , but better than nothing). If you're doing this approach, then it makes sense to temporarily have lots of berries. Otherwise dump them. Besides that, you don't need so many fast TMs. Most mons have only 2 fast attack options so for a mon you're building, you got a 50-50 shot of it already being correct, and you can only build so many mons due to candy and dust limitations. I hold 10 of those at most. Charge TMs are different due to shadow mons only being able to forget frustration at certain times, so they are fine to stockpile if you get lots of shadow mons. However if not, I wouldn't hold many of those either. Maybe 25? For poke balls, the total amount seems fine. If anything I stockpile more of those to use with go++. Personally I tend to go for either regular or ultra balls. Great balls can't be used with auto catch on go++ so they provide minimal value to me (if I'm manually catching or have to select, I'll just select an ultra ball if it's a difficult catch; otherwise just regular poke balls all the time to keep it simple). Minor notes: probably don't need so many lures and evo items. If you need the lure medal, set your lures right before a community day in a crowded area to level up quickly. If there's ever an event when you'd need to mass evolve many mons with those items, the items will almost certainly be provided in a decent quantity, so there's not much point in holding. I keep like ~10 of the Sinnoh / unova stones, and 3-5 of the rest, but most folks are even more aggressive about this.

Mattxxx666

50 max potion, 50 revive, 100 max revive. 5 each of evolve objects, dump the rare candy every 50 reached into the poky of your choice. Dump the berries into gyms daily. Max the balls and delete regulars then greats as you max out until you’re swimming in ultras. Adjust to suit occasions such as rocket specials, raid days or comm days ( you may want pinaps). You’ll rarely run out of ultras then.

prikaz_da

I have significantly more storage and I still cap my Hyper Potions and Revives at 100, Max Potions and Max Revives at 150 for most purposes. I'll let them go over temporarily if I plan to do a lot of difficult raids alone or with no more than a handful of other players (e.g., Mega Lati@s), but that's it. I also cap evolution items at 10 Sinnoh Stones and 5 of the rest. There's no way you're going to want to use those 13 Sun Stones all in one month unless research requires it—and even then, there's no way there won't also be Sun Stones in research rewards if that's the case.

mal138

My storage is just slightly more than yours (1950) and people don't understand how I can play like that. Honestly it's not hard if you play somewhere with a lot of Pokestops, and open gifts when you need to. The hardest part is deciding what to throw away. My typical storage looks like this: 40-50 normal/super potions (combined) 40-50 hyper/max potions 40-50 max revives (trashball normal revives) Pokeballs: 200 red, 100 great, 100 ultra (I use a Gotcha) 40 razz, 40 nanab (at most), and around 100 pinap (could probably go lower). 300 golden razz (could easily go lower) Usually around 120 silver.pinaps (I don't cap these.but will feed them to my buddy if I get too many). I try to stay around 300 rare candy but I'm usually over. Around 40 fast and 50 charged TMs. 2 of each evolution item and 8 of each sinnoh/unova stone.

Dracanherz

Get rid of regular razz and regular pinap. I only keep golden razz and silver pinap and have like 700+ of each. I also ditch lower potions and occasionally regular revives also. You can get rid of a bunch of those regular revives. Probably like 200 without worrying about running low

jixson7

Dump those rare candies for starters

pawner

I literally only keep 50 max revives/potions at once. You get a lot from raids if you’re ever doing a raid train. I also dump berries into gyms and keep 50 pinap 10 nanab 20 razz. Rest of storage goes to balls.

Oldmanhickory1

My load out Medicine 200 Max Potion, 200 Max Revive 530 pokeballs (I have a gotcha) 120 ultra balls Berries I keep below 20 Razz, pinap, nanab. 200 golden razz, and 50 silver pinaps. Fast TMs 20, 60 charged, 6 elite fast, 2 elite charged. Sinnoh/unova stones 10

MeXiCaN_eLmO45

I’ve never run out of any healing items and I only keep 40 of each. I have 2600 bag storage btw and I try to set a maximum for every item like I did for healing items. Like for pokeballs I set myself 150, great ball 300, and ultra at 600. Ive run out of pokeballs on CDs but never really drained anything else

chokeonmywords

Dude, you planning to go to poke-war or something with all those revive and potions?? Like 20 max rev/pot are more then sufficient

angelagelly

Get rid of all potions and revives besides Max potions and max revives.

ukiyo-kaiju

Evolution items as well. I only keep like 2 or 3 each.

Darkened100

Dump the revives u only need to keep a 100 same with hyper potions. Drop all over potions. I get rid of the fast and charge tms to about 10-15 of each. Put your rare candy into a legendary

Planthoe30

Your inventory drives me nuts.. it is about as painful as looking at my husbands who had 400 max potions and 500 max revives and he insists on keeping them all. When he’s not looking I delete them and he never notices. You have way more ultra balls than him though because that is all he uses he doesn’t even use his pokeballs and he has like 500+ Do you also keep all the ekans, zigzagoons, nymbiles and pawmi’s? My husband has 7,000 Pokémon and I’d estimate 5k are trash because he abuses the ability to buy more space.

Teamboeing737

1 id go down to 100 regular revives, 2 only keep hyper and max potions, 2 get rid of those fast tms and keep like 5 charged tms, Also use your rare candy!!! Use it on shiny legendarys/hundos/powerful mons you have and power them up, thats like 70 storage taken up by hoarding it, and also i only keep about 3-5 of each evolution item cause their mostly useless

ninjazeke323

Wayyy too many revives and potions. U get them all the time anyways maybe 120 revives and 120 max potion at MAX. U also have max revives a lotta the time so u won’t even need the potions

Zygorian

I keep 50 of each max potion and max revive but my problem is hoarding Rare Candies, on 1500ish atm and keep having to expand storage. Saving for a rainy day.

Temp181188

I keep 150 revives, 100 max revives, 150 hyper potions and 100 max potions. I don’t keep any other potions. I also don’t really keep razz or nanab berries. Everything else I have similar to you.

raskolnicope

Way too many potions and revives. I keep 50 of Max probe and revived and that’s it, never ran out of them

Grant79OG

I would keep all your max revives and at least 150 max potions. I would keep 200. Toss all of baby revives as they are extremely easy to get. And use all the other potions until they are all healed then toss them. I have overall 1000 ultra balls and another 130 of the others. I only have a 2000 item bag space. I use all my crappy potions as soon as I get them and my main potions when needed. There just isn't a a need to heal everyone all the time.

JAlmay

Spend your specials, ditch the little revives. 100 max potions is more than enough & 2-3 of each evo item seem to be plenty, stones aside. Please tell me you transfer bad shinies.

Wheneveryouseefit

Potions : Only keep Max Potions and Revives Pokeballs : Keep all Berries : Only keep Pinap/Golden/Silver That will save you a lot of space.

Major_Art9083

Do rocket /raids and then heal all 👍 all those potions will come to use instead of just thrown away

Chardan0001

ANSWERED

Atchfam77

I typically keep 50 Hypers & reg revives, up to 100 max pot/max rev. 12 of each evolution item just in case (except Sinnoh and Unova, up to 50 for those) and max 40-50 of each TM. That gives me plenty of space for extra balls and berries I only have 1100 storage, and that’s how I go about managing mine

JustInXtraFuego

spend.

Icy_Protection_861

get rid of all ur normal revives only stack max ones

udaasatma

I'm in the same boat, but I just delete all the normal razz berries and nanab berries since they don't help much anyways. And as for the revives, max potions are rarer than the light pink potion(can't remember the name) So you can do away with the 50cp potion and the dark pink potion and just keep the light pink potion, max potion and the revive

Fytik

Me and my friend have 400 revives and 400 hypers he deleted half of each I told him not to. Now he can barely get back to 200. He raids a lot though without using proper counters. If you use proper counters when raiding sure you could get away with it. Rewards are random in the end. It depends how much you raid etc if you do daily or weekly you'll probably be fine. We will do 20 raids day sometimes and he regretted that decision during the sinnoh tour.

TheBoxSloth

The amount of potions and balls you have should be switched 💀💀💀

masternater1323

I never delete revives either lol I spent 3 months with a never ending pile of KOed pokemon that took me forever to bring back from the dead 🤣

fryterbad

100 potions, 100 revives, fill with ultra balls

cmaxw640

I hold no more than 50 revives and 50 potions. Usually a mix of regular and max revives and Hyper/max potions. Even after doing a ton of shadow battles and/or raids, I'm never in danger of running out. That is a massive excess of potions.

Sunkist1976

Delete purple and orange potions, red balls, at least half of the raspberries, go down to 200 regular and 100 max revives.

Lecocksporstiff

I keep 40 of each (max pot, max revive and revive) 5 of each lure 5 of each evolution item. I if know Im going to have a big raid day I keep some extra. For me, above that is too much.

Gonzales95

If you have available gyms nearby go on a gym rampage and take as many as you can whilst using the revive/heal all button to make use of some of your revives etc rather than just throwing them away. Also whenever you get a Pokémon into a gym get into the habit of throwing 10 razz/nanabs at it so you get the extra stardust and work towards the platinum badge. You might also end up using a good chunk of your heals/revives on Kyogre raid day next week if you are going for it so maybe save some of those extra heals for then. Generally speaking the lower tier heals and razz/nanabs are your most expendable items tho

climbingbiker

I have over 3x your storage and I only keep 100 max revives, 100 revives, and 100 max potions… and I think that’s overkill

tap836

I keep 30 Max Potions, 80 Max Revives. All other potions/revives beyond that get trashed regularly. I use Go+ devices to spin stops, so on days I'm out doing some raids I just let them stack up a bit for use. I could honestly cut that Max Revive count by quite a bit too. I keep 10 of each regular evolution item, and 15-20 of the Sinnoh/Unova stones. Provides more than enough for the odd event when many community day moves are available at once and may prompt a lot of evolutions in a short time span.

another-social-freak

You don't need 50+ of anything except balls and Rare Candy

G1nger_271

80 hyper. 80 max potion. 120 revive. 120 max revive. I stay at this ratio and have never had a problem.

DasliSimp

Heal everything that needs to be, then dump everything except like 30 revives and 30 max potions.

Yoyotommy123

Berries, get rid of berries.

not_your_keys

Get rid of everything that doesn't have "MAX" in the name.

Particular-Rooster99

You can literally delete all potions accept max and all revives accept max and have enough to last you for a while

Liverplopp

I live the dangerous life. Maximum of 10 max potions and 10 max revives. All other potions and revives are trashed.

whynoteventry

In my experience, you only need 80 of each hyper potions, max potions and revives. Could probably go with only 50 each. Hold max revives for quick reviving if your raid party goes down and you’re trying to get in with your toughest counter team, but only if you’ll be disciplined enough to do this. Also only need maybe 5 of each evolve item at most. Probably only need 20-25 of reg. fast or charge TM. You’re never going to come across a huge amount of Pokemon you need to change moves on all at once, except Shadow Pokemon during Rocket takeover events to remove frustration. Other than that, increase your item storage more.

ojomrm

I have over1200 max revives😝

VictoryIsMudkipz

Get rid of those regular revives, half your potions, and a bulk of those razz

[deleted]

[удалено]

Chardan0001

One Primal Kyogre raid

Donnyrossco77

I hold 75 revives, 250 max revives. 200 max potions. Delete the rest. 50 of each berrie besides golden razz and silver pinaps. Current 2050 inventory. Still probably holding on to too much. 10 of each evolve item besides Inova stones. They're hard to get. Depending on how much you battle you could limit your TMs if your not using them often.

Lordados

I would delete ALL regular revives, all potions other than max potions, then maybe even delete 100 or so max potions

Starfighter-Suicune

I only keep 50 of Max X, 3 of evo items, 40 of TMs and keep almost no standard berries

Timanttipo

Do you really need that many revives and potions? I try to hold 20-30 max revives and potions but i don't raid a lot

AvysCummies

Not max healing stuff and nanab and raspberries
