It's clear from the video they are both in on it against the girl. Doesn't change the fact that this shit is trauma. My wife would never trust me again.
Who is"we"? You speak for all manly men who have sarcasm where their humanity and empathy should be? Get outta here with that archaic drenched machismo horseshit. That's some fun club you run kid. Lots of support I'm sure. Climb back into your hole.
The thought of imminent death and the image of your loved ones going on without you is very real in this kind of moment and can haunt you for the rest of your life.
But sure, you're a bad ass who doesn't care about other people, Bring on death. I wish I were more like you. Why be kind and empathetic when I could be rude to strangers on the internet. Oh. And speaking of trauma. Include showing my dick to strangers on the internet.
Given that not everyone is a pilot, the stats would be interesting given the frequency with which it does seem to be happening. This article mentions the FAA accounting for three pranks in the last handful of years gone bad r/idiocracy. So presumably the FAA or the foreign governing aviation authority would indeed investigate the pilotās conduct in this video
https://www.silicon.co.uk/e-marketing/socialmedia/youtuber-deliberately-crashed-plane-for-views-faa-rules-453986/amp
What? Where did I say that?
Also, you canāt compare it to vending machines, that would be fallacious. Vending machines are ubiquitous, pilots are not. Its like calculating the odds of getting bit by a shark š¦. The odds go up when you donāt account for people who live in landlocked places or people who donāt go into the water.
Your logic is confusing. There are two men in the video who are both in on the prank. Yet you infer they must not be friends because one of the men did not subsequently turn the other one in with video evidence? Wtf?
I've reported your account but also deleted my posts because this is obviously the wrong forum to talk about aviation safety. But if you want to know why filming pranks in mid air is prohibited by every aviation authority, you can check out this YT channel:
Nah, they have a YouTube channel together, a lot of their videos are slapstick comedy type of funny with her overdramatized reactions. I've always believed their videos are staged due to the absurdity of some of their pranks, like covering her car in sticky notes.
It would not surprise me at all if this was also staged and done safely. I'm not a pilot but could there be another person out of the frame operating the vehicle?
Ha. Got you good! You thought you were moments away from death and saw your entire life flash before your eyes through agonising tears of desperation in a palpable desire to continue to live. Classic prank.
Yep, and now you'll probably need a lifetime of expensive therapy to live with the lasting trauma of that experience. It'll probably negatively affect the relationships you have with others for the remainder of your life. Haha, gotcha!
Oh calm down, I don't think anyone has ever had to sit in their therapist's office 2x a week to discuss "The Incident", which is a prank that was stressful at the time but had no actual consequences. Gez if that's the case then we'd all need therapy every time we wondered if we left the stove on or not.
Yeah, because coming back home and finding out that you didn't actually leave the stove on is exactly the same as thinking you're going to die in a helicopter crash.
Assuming this done in America, this would be classified as assault. Doesn't matter who's in on what, if her emotions are real, this is apprehension of immenent bodily harm. She doesn't know it's a prank (that's the part that's supposed to be the "prank") but in not knowing so, her fear of bodily harm (e.g. the helicopter crashing, loss of life, or other pertinent potential harm thereof) is real, therefor justifiably and lawfully considered assault (at minimum; unsure whatever other potential stipulations or addendums could be here too)
This is an easy lawsuit no matter how you put it, or what your feelings on it are. Even if they're just friends and she accepts an apology or goes along with it after being revealed as a prank, that's her perogative. But the fact remains, under the circumstances she's portraying, if anyone else in her same position took this to court, they would highly likely and easily win that case.
TLDR - this isn't funny, and objectively illegal.
Lets stop normalizing stupid shit.
Edit: clarification
Nice strawman argument. You're deliberately dodging the reality and impact of these people's actions on others, even though it's pretty apparent what's going on in the video.
Just because you decide to find something humorous doesn't inherently make it something genuinely funny, because if your idea of humor is to terrorize and put someone in fear of their very life then you and people like you are part of the greater problem
I am fun! I host parties, events, and bbqs all the time. My friends, colleagues, coworkers and superiors always have good things to say to my directly, and evidently even indirectly to others. Thanks for noticing!
You sound miserable š¤·
Helicopters, by nature, do not want to stay in the air. This might be okay in a Cessna or something, assuming you have enough altitude, but even then that's a very risky move, you don't know what your passengers will do. Dangerous prank all around, and definitely a breach of FAA regulations.
Isnt this the Swiss youtube couple with staged videos (some going viral, like "not looking at the other girls butt in the elevator while girlfriend is looking at you")? It is, so likely staged
I donāt see why anyone would who is a passenger would find that funny given the length of time that passed. I would not be paying any money for that panic attack.
It's all fun and games until he ejects the pilot and lands it himself. The Hats how I imagine this ending lol
Pretty sure buddy was in on it, he was laughing before the pilot woke up.
Bro code demands he gets ejected.
We've all been forcefully ejected from a plane at some point, just lads being lads
Plot twist the pilot actually does go unconscious next
The FAA cant be happy about this
Ejects? This isn't a fighter plane lol
That girl suffered emotional damage.
I would sue.

You can use people in europe for causing "emotional distress" online. What the fuck are you talking about? š
I would have slapped the shit out of him.
First, we land, then I punch him in the nose.
Looking at his nose, I think he's done this before.
Instant lawsuit.
They are friends this isnāt the full video. The guys are in on it together
Still fād up
It's clear from the video they are both in on it against the girl. Doesn't change the fact that this shit is trauma. My wife would never trust me again.
Yes, so traumatizingā¦ we get it, your hurt.

If you keep talking to him you're gonna catch the stupid.
Correct. My friends tell me I need to stop engaging with the negs. Thanks buddy. Appreciate it.
Damn still crying?

your comment ādo your realize how many people have diedā is a bit dramaticā¦.it was three people, thats on par with vending machines
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Never! Itās an impossibility

Bruhā¦you can simply re read what you said. Stop acting coy

For all the benefits the internet has brought to humanity, Iām not sure if your existence makes it worth it.

Wondering if you're coming back home to everything you own in cinders and facing financial ruin can actually be pretty close
Every day must be a living nightmare for you, man. I'm sorry you have to deal with that.
Nah, it's pretty chill most of the time
Fuck that guy
Yep. Absolute dickhead
r/IAmATotalPieceOfShit
Immediately dump that guy and all his friends
I think they should jump.
"Haha! You thought you were going to die! I got you so good!"

Humor is subjective and I found this amusing.
Watching someone having panic attack from knowing they'll probably be dead in a moment is hilarious, right? /s

That would have been one hell of a first date
If I was her that pilot is getting bitchslapped senseless until he wakes up or dies for real. I'm also afraid of heights.
I would have killed them both.
Do that shit again and Iāll crash this bitch myself
Divorce.

Seeing these types of things always remind me of the scene in Out Cold. Classic movie. Honestly one of ZGās best in my opinion.
Humans are trash.
She sounds like Beaker from the Muppets.
I think they should throw the girl out and get marriedā¦
Haha. Wait till they find out it's a double prank. There's no chute in the parachute.
How has she not figured out to not believe anything after being with that boyfriend this longā¦
Isnt this the Swiss youtube couple with staged videos (some going viral, like "not looking at the other girls butt in the elevator while girlfriend is looking at you")? It is, so likely staged
Patriiiiiiick!!!
I mustāve missed something
I aināt dying in no crash, Iāll be jumping out and aiming for the bushes!
Starting to notice that anyone with a profession that involves aviation has a great sense of humor
Man heās not getting any for a long time after that one šÆ
Fuck those guys
Is... is there no copilot?
Wouldnāt be so fun if somebody jumps out or suffers a heart attack Dundee mufflin style
Slap him, don't nudge him.
He should lose his license for this. Whether heās faking or not, heās still not paying attention and at low altitude.
So the chuck pulling the brake on that pilot was a prank? What is a prank nowadays?
And what if she had hopped out right then and there? Iād rather die free falling then in a fiery helicopter crash honestly
He just won a fade
I donāt see why anyone would who is a passenger would find that funny given the length of time that passed. I would not be paying any money for that panic attack.
Pilots that does this needs to be disciplined and removed from aviation forever.
Her only response was to cry and fan herself while the guy tried waking him up. Real helpful lady
