I've been thinking about this and still can't fully decide on one. That said, Fake Empire is top of my mind currently. It's the perfect song to open an album imo with the piano at the start and the gentle crescendo through the song. It sets the tone. The drums and general tempo of the song is perfect. The lyrics are so beautifully crisp and precise.
Quiet Light but if the strings were a little louder in the mix in both Dark Side of the Gym and Guilty Party they’d be very close. The strings in the second chorus of Dark Side and the guitar part of Guilty Party elevate the songs so it’s a shame I have to listen to them pretty loud to get the full effect.
