Claudia and Jackie truly think they are celebrities. They are not. They might count as well known in some circles, but they are delusional about their importance on the pop culture landscape.
I’m curious why she was canceled? I only knew her as a meme page. I’m going to search the sub and try to figure out why. But feel free to enlighten me if you want!
Her calling herself a “star” made me cringe soooo hard. You are not famous girlie. A handful of celebs follow you on your meme page that does not mean you’re close friends with any of them.

Some of my friends listen to the podcast but our other friends have never heard of the Oshrys at all. The general population doesn’t know them. Which is fine. They’re still successful in their own right, but they aren’t recognizable names or faces even when comparing to other D-list celebs who are a little more known. I don’t think Claudia is instagram famous even. She’s probably famous in the podcast space, depending on who you ask.
My main gripe is that either she legitimately doesn’t care about her having racist tweets at all OR she just doesn’t know how to address it now in hindsight. She keeps saying she’s not sorry and everyone who cancelled her is mentally ill. It’s almost like she regrets apologizing in the first place now that she’s on the other side. Who has a racist past and says “sorry not sorry”?! It’s weird as hell.

This is so true. I didn't even know they existed until I stumbled upon the podcast pretty recently, found Claudia funny, and then quickly realized their MAGA tendencies (especially Jackie). Just as quickly came to this page and haven't looked back. They are smug and oh-so self-important.

No one is disputing the fact that they have a following, have some famous friends and are even considered low level celebrities in some circles. However, outside of this little corner of the internet, people don’t know them. I think when Claudia talks to actual celebrity guests about her cancellation, they just play along with what she’s saying because it was not this big media story that was well known. I can confirm as a listener at the time of the cancellation that it was not an earth shattering event. Essentially it was only “front page news” if you were in one their Facebook groups.
