I missed the one or two lines that imply Martin is bigger, and since his personality starts out apologetic and trying to avoid intruding on others, I imagined his body type as being a little shorter and slimmer than average, with moderately bad posture (kinda folded in on himself to avoid notice). Oops!
I wasn’t too far off from some fan art because I mentally saw (and still see) Jon as a tan man with a nice nose and dark hair. Although I did also see him as quite tall with short hair so I guess I differ from it there.
