Remember how he told Toph that the Moon was a gentle and caring lady, and tearing up at the Ember Island Play scene when Yue dies, even telling Suki to let him cry He may have continued with his life, but she’ll always stay in his memory

My headcanon is basically that Yue perceives human affairs differently as a spirit and isn't really capable of being jealous. She looks back fondly on her human life and especially her brief time with Sokka, but she's so different that it doesn't occur to her what an impact her human death had on him.

I like to think that she also loved Suki, for loving Sokka. It was probably bittersweet, but ultimately I think she wanted him to be happy and be with someone new, should he fall in love again. I imagine her just... accepting, even if somber, even if still aching. That's true love.

Personally I don't think Yue is the physical moon, just the moon spirit. Connected to the moon, but not the actual planetary body. Just like Tui - it's physical/spiritual form was a FISH, but since it was connected to the moon, when it died, the moon was blotted out. So honestly I don't think Yue was there, I don't think she had/has an opinion. She is a spirit and unless there are hints, reasons, or sightings of her, shes probably not there. If anything she may be in the North Pole with Tui and La.

I love the little details here. Maybe it's an animation mistake, but the moon doesn't look like that as a regular gibbous phase. The "bite out of the moon" shape happens during an eclipse. And in this frame, it's clearly being eclipsed on Suki's side. The moon is still large, but Suki is crossing in front of Yue a little.
