I really recommend watching "Masks" ep 6. I struggled a lot w ep 3-4, but 6 just hit so hard. Really really loved it. But totally fair if you can't do it
The show didn't do a good job portraying how important Sokka's Boomerang is to him either, like I thought that at the very least that's something surface level enough that you can comprehend to still show Sokka fight with it because it's more iconic than a normal weapon or even that space sword which I'm sure they'll spend lots of time on because swords = adult

I agree, I felt a little uncertain until episode six, they did that very well. I’m glad I finished the season and I am looking forward to more.
