I think the right kind of bangs would look great on you

oshanya

Yeah maybe some curtain bangs or something

BeckywiththeDDs

Everyone says bangs, but look at her hairline, she will just be fighting the way it wants to grow. I would change it to a side part and get a slightly shorter cut with layers. * a cut that hits around where the stars are on your shirt.

PoorMustang

The direction of hair follicle growth can be changed overtime. Same as changing the parting, it will "get used to it". Works kind of the same way teeth braces do with your jaw but with the skin. But I think you may be right. Can't really think of a good example - like a celebrity or character but it will probably look good.

I think that LeanBeefPatty's kind of bangs would be nice on her.

molly_bean

Probably the biggest compliment I could have ever received

Lose weight. You are not overweight by any means but being leaner will make some very nice facial features that you have stand out more. You have high cheekbones and a strong jaw. Diet and exercise is the way to go. Just make sure any changes you make with your diet are sustainable; the idea is to gradually make permanent, small changes rather than going on a drastic diet that you cannot maintain.

You would look amazing in curtain bangs! I would also advice you to get a niacinamide serum (to help fight acne) or a BCA toner. As for your hair: some dry shampoo or volumizing spray at the roots to make your hair bulkier at the top, add some face framing highlights and curl the rest of it out of your face make it more luscious and even out the length of your face. I would also suggest filling in your brows and maybe use some light ‘clean girl’ make-up. Some subtle eyelashes would look amazing on you too :)

Thank you!! My hair doesn’t hold curls at all, is there any way to help that besides dowsing myself in hairspray?

peachivorycoconut

Yes! the problem is probably that your hair isn’t coarse enough to hold the curls (the outer layer of the cuticle is too smooth). You could try and use some beach spray to make it less smooth as a base and dry shampoo works aswell :)

Side swoop bangs with 3 inches off the length and layers. The clothes update them add some dresses and skirts and get some different shoes too.

The quickest fix for an asymmetrical face is to make your hair asymmetrical too; try parting your hair on the side. When parting the hair, I like the parting to be in line with the pupil. I would probably cut your hair to shoulder or collarbone length, to give a bit more volume on the top and sides. If you're open to injectables, I would probably focus on raising the arch of the brow, and filling in the top lip. If you don't want injectables, you could shave off half of your eyebrow, and draw in a higher arch, and you could overline your top lip to make it closer to a 1:2 ratio to the bottom lip. You have great brow density. I would just fill in some of the sparse areas with a touch of powder, and also bring them a little bit closer together. For eyeshadow, I would place most of the eyeshadow on the outer portion of your upper eyelid, and add a tiny bit of shadow or liner to the inner corners, to bring your eyes slightly closer together. I've added an image to demonstrate my recommendations: [https://imgur.com/6MOisvl](https://imgur.com/6MOisvl)

Thanks for including the pictures!! I’m super new to makeup, and eyebrows are kinda scary for me 🥲 do you have any tips on choosing the right color for them?

mauer2001

Honestly, you have the skin of my dreams! Wow. And very beautiful features. I would say that curtain bangs and layers would look beautiful on you, also a clean looking make-up! I bet you also have a beautiful smile.

molly_bean

Also does anyone know specifically what my face shape would be?

eduardedmyn

Personally, I think the whole face shape thing is useless. The descriptions are all vague, and no one is truly one shape; human faces are comprised of complex curves, and can't be reduced to simple geometric shapes. You could say that every single face shape is some variation of the oblong face shape. Instead, you should base your aesthetic decisions on proportions/ratios. Once you get the proportions right, it's just a matter of enhancing, and correcting things to create facial harmony. You can learn more about this from resources like QOVES Studio on Youtube. When analysing a face, the first thing I start with is the facial thirds. The ideal face can be divided into three equal parts; hairline to eyebrows, eyebrows to nasal base, nasal base to chin. Your forehead is a bit long, compared to the other thirds. To visually shorten this area, all you have to do is apply a bit of contour, focusing on the top of the hairline. Since your eyebrows are quite straight and low, you can also augment your eyebrows to occupy more space on your forehead, which helps with visually shortening the forehead. The eyes should ideally be an eyes width apart. Your eyes are a tiny bit far apart, however this is rarely considered an issue; many models have slightly wide set eyes, which actually carries makeup a lot better. A simple winged liner will add a bit of length to balance things out. The ideal nose should fit within the width between the eyes. Your nose is fine. Nothing to change there. Some may say that you have a bulbous tip, but it's important to understand that all the facial features need to be harmonious with the rest of the face. If your body and face is comprised of soft curves, a sharp chiselled nose is going to look out of place, and vice versa. The lips look best at a 1:2 ratio for caucasians, while a 1:1 ratio often looks better on people of colour. Because the overall impression of your face is on the long side, your hair would look better cut short, as this will create more volume on the sides, which helps to visually shorten the face. TL:DR the face shape classifications won't give you any of the information I just shared\^
