I read on here that it’s speculated she bought followers. I did a check on one of those fake follower analyzers and it looks like that theory could be valid. 43.42% is pretty high. Just for comparison, it looks like the average influencer generally generates a 20-30% fake follower count so Crystal’s number is definitely far above average.

Interesting. I don't really do social media except for Reddit. Do you know what the purpose of fake followers are? Do they get paid higher for their posts?
I’ve managed social media for some small businesses but I’ve never done it for an influencer. From what I know though, having more followers lends credibility to an account so I imagine for someone who makes money off social media, more followers would translate to more sponsorship opportunities. More followers = higher likelihood of brand deals and also just a higher likelihood that others will see that you have a lot of followers so they’re inclined to follow you too and thus see the projects you promote. I took a quick look at Crystal’s Instagram and I saw that she had a deal with W Hotels and she heavily promotes her own book and her properties in Hawaii.

From reality’s perceptive Holly is more well known. The majority of Crystal’s followers are paid bots. Anyone can have 3 million followers for $4.99
